Yes, that version was much better and solved problem one I listed, but as I said in my post in response to post 522 I normally have a very heavy blue meta and problem two was still an issue. The flex slots I spoke of normally vary between gitaxian probes/counters and a now 1 of intuition in the main after seeing the seeing the results from the previous SCG winner, which is currently performing pretty well.
Since this deck is getting more popular, I would like some advice on the mirror match.
1) General game plan (Symmetry of S&T and Dream Halls coupled with the small chance of an instant speed win through Ants makes this non-trivial).
a) I assume the goal is simply to build a hand that can go off with 2+ counter back up and do it all on your turn.
2)Cards you would change if you expect the mirror to be common
a) Gitaxian probe seems awesome here.
b) specific wish targets?
c) others?
d) bring back the R or B splash?
I think in the mirror match, it really comes down to how many counters you have. This deck can't win at instant speed, you need to cast enter the infinite to go off. You also need to consider that if they have an omniscience as well, they have both counters as well as cunning wish->wipe away to stall your win. Probe will help you know when you can go off and how many counters you need.
If the mirror matchup is becoming too common for you, I think the black splash has the most relevance in both the mirror and in general. Discard helps break the symmetry of show and tell as well as getting rid of hate pieces and flusterstorm.
That all makes sense, except that the highlighted statement is not correct. It can go off at instant speed, however it is a narrow corner case which involves you not having a counter to wish for as might happen in game 2, them not having a counter in hand, and some favorable flips as follows: Opponent casts S&T, you both play omniscience, they put enter the infinite on the stack, at which point you cunning wish for Release the ants and go for the clash kill before their enter resolves. This only works if you get lucky with the clashes, but it is not uncommon to float cards at the top of your library, or to brainstorm in response to stack the top of your library giving you a punchers chance. Like I said, narrow corner case, but it is worth realizing that it exists.
I actually never even thought of going off with that method haha. I suppose that's a legitimate way of beating the mirror, although the likelihood seems quite small.
Yup, you never want to be in that situation, but you might as well play to your 1% out rather than just pick up your cards.
1.)whats the game plan here and the winning strategy?

You very likely can build it without spending any money, just out of what you already have.
An example with my (very large) list in a visual form
Mirror MU - just bring Defense Grid any be lucky having better draws then opponent.
Is the main reason for Sapphire Charm instead of just Slaughter Pact so that you can save a mana off dealing with a Thalia when you go off? Or are there any other situations I can't think of (I'm sure there are, I'm quite new to this deck)?
Since you can't pay for the pact, slaughter pact is there to get rid of the necessary hate bear for the least amount of mana possible on the turn you go off (Thalia, Teeg, Canonist).
Sapphire charm has a lot of functions. It can be a hate bear answer. It can buy you an extra turn against a lethal attack. It also completely deals with a batterskull (equipment phases out with the creature (germ) and since the germ is permanently lost, the batterskull doesn't phase back in). It also regularly serves as cantrip, drawing an extra card when you need an answer. Unless you are doing something truly new, the flying mode has no function in the deck.
The mirror match depends almost entirely on having Omniscience and Cunning Wish. Typically I just jam as soon as possible and make my opponent have it. I would not wait for having two counters or even 1. It matters if you have counters if they jam, but otherwise it's more important that it's your turn. Besides cunning wish and counters both decks do not interact much, and there just aren't that many counters in the deck especially when players are running Pact, which is not a counter unless you are going off.
I run Flusterstorm instead of Pact, not only because of the mirror, but it is awesome in the mirror. I was the top16 list in SCG Philly, and I've been running it in dailies recently, with good success. I love being able to Flusterstorm before I go off against a troublesome card (Hymn to Tourach, etc.), and players have become increasingly skilled at letting Pact resolve and re-countering, which used to be less automatic (though it always has been against good players). Probe is also a really good card that I have been loving in the deck.
Still not worth splashing IMO.
Congratulations on the top 16. I was saw the list after it was posted and wondered if you had ever wanted more counters main deck during the tournament. Not necessarily PoN, but just in general. How useful has wipe away been compared to a rushing river/echoing truth?
First of all I think that information is very important by playing magic.I wanted to put 4 gitaxian probes into the deck,so I play effectively 56 cards.
1.)I cut 1xemrakul,because it won me not enough matches and is not able to be cast with a dream halls.
2.)I cut 1xleyline of sanctity from mainboard and transferred it to the sideboard for 1xeladamri's call which is not useful to be played without any creature, because BUG,Combo-decks with discard,JUND and mono-red burn is not played that often in my area.
3.)I cut 1xpreordain because it should be enough to play 3xpreordain within 56 cards.
4.)I cut 1xisland because I think 19 lands are enough within 56 cards.
5.)I added 3xgitaxian probe in order to play effectively 56 cards and giving me the maximum of information and 1xdream halls in order to have the maximum of redundancy in the mainboard. In the sideboard
6.)I replaced 1xintuition with 1xdream halls, because I think in legacy you don't have the time to wish for 1xintuition and play it and then play the card which you found with intuition and also 1xfiremind's foresight is better with a dream halls in play.
Thats my current list.
3 City of Traitors
3 Polluted Delta
4 Flooded Strand
9 Island
4 Dream Halls
4 Omniscience
3 Cunning Wish
3 Pact of Negation
4 Brainstorm
4 Force of Will
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Enter the Infinite
4 Ponder
3 Preordain
4 Show and Tell
Sideboard:
1 Trickbind
1 Slaughter Pact
1 Sapphire Charm
1 Rushing River
1 Release the Ants
1 Noxious Revival
1 Firemind's foresight
3 Defense Grid
4 Leyline of Sanctity
1 Pact of Negation
I.)What do you think about my changes and my thoughts from 1.) to 6.)?
II.)I am also thinking about cuting in the mainboard 3xpact of negation for 3xflusterstorm,what do you think about this idea?
You're running Firemind's Foresight with no 2-drop to find?
So it seems like his firemind's foresight is completely dead. It finds him a singleton brainstorm as he has no 2 cc instant or a 3cc instant. That's cool tech right there.
Hi All!
I have been playing this deck since July. I prefere the original version but sometimes the firemind's verson with Impulse, Flusterstorm, Intuition MD seems better (D n T, discard decks). My question is: what is the proper strategy against very fast decks: berserk infect, storm, oops all spells?
