The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
-2 Mindbreak Trap, please. If for no other reason then to stop my eyes from bleeding![]()

Having said this, I am also seeing myself moving away from the as their are useless against all kinds of Show and Tell combo.

Yeah of course, but since this is not my personal stream thread (which I might open soon, stay tuned), you might wanna use the twitch chat :-)

Thanks, I already edited in the 2 Craterhoof, 2 Llanowar and 1 Birchlore that were missing. Typed it out in a hurry when the stream chat asked for the list

Small question to the elvish champions out there:
How do you win the mirror-match?
Recently the popularity of Elves has been rising, so there's an increased need to be prepared for the mirror. Jitte, Orzhov Pontiff, Gut Shot? Is there a good target one can get with GSZ? Or is it simply not worth to run anything?
I see the mirror as a 100-Meters dash. You either win by sheer speed or make sure your opponent trips on his own shoe laces.
If you have access to Priest Of Titania, GSZ for 2 on T2 and it's mostly GG since you'll GSZ/NO right after.
EDIT: Love your avatar.
Thoughtseize for Easy Mode. Therapy for Hard Mode.
I've been looking through some other primers on this board and noticed that some have extensive sections describing what to side in and out against particular decks. I realize that there are several approaches to which cards we select for our sideboard fifteen, but thought it might be a good project for us, as Theros isn't giving us much in the way of improving our deck, to work on sideboard resource.
While I have some experience playing this deck, so many of the regulars have so much more. So, I would defer to that expertise.
Perhaps we could come up with some sets of fifteen we might choose among and then make suggestions for what to side in and out for each of the lists vs. decks we might face.
Let's assume we're starting with this deck:
2 Bayou
1 Dryad Arbor
1 Forest
4 Gaea's Cradle
1 Savannah
4 Windswept Heath
2 Wooded Foothills
4 Verdant Catacombs
3 Birchlore Ranger
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Elvish Visionary
4 Heritage Druid
4 Nettle Sentinel
4 Quirion Ranger
4 Wirewood Symbiote
2 Craterhoof Behemoth
4 Glimpse of Nature
4 Green Sun's Zenith
4 Natural Order
(I know there are other viable deck lists, but we need a place to start)
Here's a start on the decks we might face (please add others):
Affinity
BUG Delver
Burn
Dredge
High Tide
Lands
Manaless Dredge
Merfolk
Nic Fit
Painter Stone
Pox
RUG Delver
Stoneblade Control
TES
The Gate
The Rock
Turbo Eldrazi
U/W Miracles
Zoo
If this has already been done and I missed it, no worries. But it seemed like an interesting project for the thread.
LoR
Yeah. I got lazy when it came to the Matchups section. I've been meaning to edit in some stuff but IRL makes me lazy and nobody seemed to be asking for it. I'll try to write something up when I get some time after work tomorrow. Also, I'm not sure Pox or The Gate are actually decks right now. Probably just looking at the current DTB section and a few random format staples should be good enough.
