How did that deck perform? It actually looks really promising.

Actually, that's how we do it. As you said, because of the singleton nature of EDH and the limits of '94 (we allow Fallen Empires, not sure why most people don't), allowing power doesn't make much of a difference.

I have a Rubinia Soulsinger deck that goes all in trying to steal creatures (Old Man of the Sea, Seasinger, Preacher, Willow Satyr, etc). I figure since mine suck, I'll use yours. Whenever I play it no one complains that I have 3 Moxes or the big blue trio. After all, even though I'm in blue my card draw after Ancestral consists of... Braingeyser and Jayemdae Tome.

Last time similar thing happened was when we played 60-cards singleton. Summer 1997?
Also, it was more like ancestral, timewalk, fork, regrowth, timewalk, lotus, wheel, timetwister. At the end, Phelddagrif flied over Wall of Roots twice.

Versus, say Tooth and Nail into almost anything? Or any of the other million broken spells/creatures/combos available to everyone else at the table?

To be honest to pull off the combo you mentioned above I'd need 4 cards out of 99 in my hand - without any tutors. Statistically very unlikely... and once I did, then what? Hope everyone else has nothing to stop me? Odds are they'd let me go - what can I do? Hope they have something worth stealing... and I can hold on to it long enough to use it.

    regular EDH.

You have to compare the two formats, and which line of play is most busted. I have to agree, with that being T&N. (even though the other line is pretty awesome ^^)

Nice deck. ALthough I'm not a fan of foils, I can still appreciate a pretty Strands.
Also, Parente should change his signature.

Wow, an almost all signed deck, that is pretty insane.

I am not a fan of foils too, but overall really nice Sneak Show. All signed is great!

Scans came washed out a little, bummer. Going to have to mess with the settings more.
