Locally there are two stompy decks, having to deal with 3shpere, chalice and the mox that the land decks run, on top of the Stoneforge decks. No that cards a godsend and I will use it. If you feel like it's unneeded then that is your call, but not losing the game at a cost of 3 mana is an ok trade in my eyes.

cutting priest absolutely has merit.
cutting shaman - not so much. perhaps its just the meta ive faced (quite alot of DnT, but also combo) I really like recurring artifact destruction. I won several games, that I woulda lost without it.
wether or not regal force is worth a slot, we will see. I quite like the card, especially vs decks that can wipe board. often i played it when i dont have enough attackers, either summoning sick or tapped, to attack w. hoof.
I will test non regal force version, for sure.

cantrip? ive often drawn 6-11 cards with it, and passed the turn.
At what time are you drawing 7 cards with Force that a Hoof was not a better option? Really, he is either a cantrip, or the second best option. There really is no in between.

when i play him, its either to load up, or to ensure resiliency.
if I could win w. hoof, id ofc take that.
but those situations, despite me experiencing them, might be so fringe and unusual that they dont warrant regal force inclusion.
I am not sold. I mean even if everything else is tapped down, I would still swing with a 12/12 if there is 7 total creatures in the table. Even if that does not kill, their likely facing down lethal. Force gives you Card Advantage, Hoof gives you the kill. Force was what the deck need before Hoof was printed, he's obsolete now. You can face down combo with Thar and Kill with Hoof. Force does not need to be there.
Plus we already have two perfectly fine draw engines in Glimpse and Visionary.

I think regal force has merits only in the miracle matchup.... if they have a top with W open natural ordering for behemoth could lead to a terminus and auto loss for us.... natural ordering for regal force can still put pressure on the opponent while having cards to play after terminus.
Nope, they can still Terminus with Regal, GSZ or NO on the Stack and StoP/bounce the fatty. In either case they can drop CB/EtA after the sweep and laugh at your new hand.
This topic lost my attention after "drawing 6-11 cards and pass". Knowing what Quirion and Symbiote do or being able to do combat math helps.

marginal situations.
also ur statement is kinda arrogant.
A well-timed Terminus isn't *that* marginal.
Also, can you use grammar and capitalization and spelling and all that? Regardless of how you feel about Lemnear, at least I can read what he is writing.
...
And knowing combat math and untaps and stuff really does help.
It's not intented to sound that way. All you hear is a kind of annoyance about discussing the same cards and situations over and over in this thread. One dear user even made a chart for Hoof vs. Regal aka damage vs. Cards drawn.
You have 8 untap effects in that deck and Nettle untaps himself ... It's quite impossible to draw 11 cards but have not at least 1 other creature without summoning sickness to join Hoof after an untap-effect. That's that I was aiming for.

In case you guys are playing on MODO these days, note that there is a bug with Harmonic Sliver. I just dropped it off my opponent's Show and Tell when he selected Omniscience. Sadly, it didn't trigger and I lost the game I should have won![]()
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
As evident on multiple occasions on this thread, we green mages like to do math. ;)
That sucks.
By the way, I really enjoyed watching your last twitch. You cracked me up with your attempts to hide cards off the end of the screen. Your commentary is fun and interesting. I continue to learn more about how to think about the deck while watching your games.
God, i'm scared about this card.
Very bad thing for Elves.
What's happened now ? Am i right to be scared or not ?
