Well, I guess you can wish + NO a turn earlier (one mana earlier to be exact) than scape. But hell yeah, better to kill with scape in this configuration !
Nevertheless, you can also wish with 2 or 3 lands and NO during the next turn.

Re: [Deck] Nic Fit (GBx Explorer Zenith Control)

Thank you to everyone who helped me with the Storm comments. I would reply to all of them separately but time is tight today.
I have a tourney in like 5 hours and I would appreciate some last minute criticism for my list. It's obviously geared toward combo, but I've got substantial creature removal as well. Not going to bother posting the lands because they're pretty stock.
I'm mostly concerned with having my SB balanced with my main because of the Slaughter Games. I can bring them out against fair decks and bring in 2 Deluge. I also cut 1 Golgari Charm because of the Deluges (mostly use the charms for -1/-1 anyway). I also upped the Surgicals to 3 because they are a real powerhouse against a T1 Storm win. Sure bro, your spells have flashback, but I would like for your Rituals to go away. Whoops! They also give me more of a chance against Dredge, a deck I'm not at all comfortable with. I can also add more permanent destruction to get rid of stupid Meddling Mage or RIP. RIP really fucks my day up.
I'm feeling pretty good about my SB; does anyone think it looks a bit spread thin?
Thanks for the last minute help!

from post to post i think we try to build nic fit better and better but it going to be near like Jund...punishing, lilianas, mass of discard...
Only I feel that Nic Fit is an deck which takes adv from sacrifice? Intent, Cabal Therapy, Recuring Nightmare?

My today test say:D....1x Deathrite Shaman (GSZ) is ok and useful.
its Much better when we play 2 liliana 2 thoughtseize 4 cabal therapy
im still thinking to play 1 recuring nightmare and 1 diabolic Intent.

    Anyone play Nightmare too?
About SB: carpet of flovers are amazing !! great works with our deck.
to be honest my SB works brilliant.
    3 Carpet of flowers
    2 slaughter games
    2 surgical extraction
    2 golgari charm
    2 Red elemental blast
    2 Pyroblast

Chains of Mephistopheles is a straight trap. I don't have time for one of my usual book-length dreadnoughts on why -- but if you search the thread I'm sure you'll find it, since it's been brought up before. Some of the old-timers in here might be able to give you a quick conceptualization for why Chains is a bad card.

ok. and what do you think about playing nightmare and diabolic. punishing fit is only budget jund or we can take maximum from our deck. i think making advantage from CiP creatures like Master...Tusk and witness for example or which card is must in like i post before. i still fight with myself about good decklist. i wrote that it will be first deck in my hands made by myself (my own cards) so i want buy cards to be owner of working deck...not pile of good creature....:(

I don't know why, but I like having Echoing Truth in the main for BUG versions over Maelstrom Pulse, even if it doesn't deal with most things permanently. I guess it has to do with it being 1 less CMC, blue and only blue, and an instant that still buys us time if we need it against almost any deck (or so my theorycrafting leads me to believe).

EDIT: Of course, I sold my original list during my hiatus and am working on rebuilding it, so it might be awhile before I can test my crackpot theories.

If you want to buy time at instant speed, use abrupt decay.

If you want to be able to kill anything, use pulse.

It's not worth it to use spot removal that's a 0-for-1.

I bet it's fun to get 3 lands in play on one turn against Alex.

Looks like a BUG fit deck made it top 8. Looks like a reaper of wilds in the deck. Curious about the list. BUG living wish version?

While I agree with ya on this in regards to fair decks, I believe simplifying the math behind bounce into '0 for 1' is misleading.

Any removal's card advantage value can be approximated using the following formula:

    I.0 + I.1 / 1

Where I.0 is equal to the initial investment to play the creatures preremoval and I.1 is equal to the post removal investment to play those creatures again. StP a Misthollow Griffin is the same deal.

Against fair decks, its obvious bounce doesn't help a bit. But unfair decks, that require heavy initial investment in the first place, it does help.

Tldr: Truth bad against fair decks, good against unfair decks.

I guess it does in BUG what you want Sigarda to do in Junk, still aren't there other options in that slot that are better like Jace?
