I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread but here it is.
I was wondering what the value of a mox ruby that has a creased corner and also had it's border colored in black.
There are also pictures of him performing the light test, I'm reading up on what I should be looking for and it looks legit but I just wanted to make sure from people that are more familiar with older cards.
Any ideas, advice, opinions, thoughts, etc... are all welcome.
Thank you!

I'm not too good with Vintage stuff, but from a quick glance it seems that HP Rubies are going for ~$370 on TCGPlayer, while the only damaged copy they list is at $315. Card looks playable, but it's definitely jacked, so I'd aim for somewhere in between, maybe $330-340.
As far as the authenticity, I can't really say. Sides definitely look inked by the way the light reflects off them, and there does seem to be some white underneath, FWIW.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel

He's been upfront from the start that this was an inked unlimited. The hardest part about this is seeing if it's real or not. It's close enough to where I'm not sure but leaning towards it being legit. I was hoping someone with more experience would be able to shed more light on it.
I would pay $250 for it, being damaged and inked and all.

I offered $200 for it which he accepted. Now I just have to wait until it gets here so I can do the tests on it myself. Even if it is beat up badly, I'm just excited to own my first piece of power.
Well then I obviously suck at Vintage pricing.

Any sleeve playable Moxen is worth $200, IMO. It is probably worth a bit closer to $250 realistically, so it's a good buy.
A card like that I would probably get altered with a full-art extension to end up with a very nice piece at a fraction of the cost of a NM Mox. But that's just me.
^That's a good idea. I just need to find someone who's able to work on moxes.
