You need a token maker to win while humility is on the field. That might be hard in his deck.
Also gbw has sufficient tools with which to beat combo without devoting an entire sideboard to it.
That's probably the right way to go actually. Because fuck sneak and show.
when did this get moved to dtb? out of the loop for a while...
At some point this morning I believe.
What do you guys think is best in BUG Pod for dealing with walkers? My friend just said I should play walkers myself. I understand over loading the board, but sometimes they just have too much removal. You think just pulse is fine?
I'd say pulse, yeah.
Or TNN.
Murderous Redcap can go after Lili or Jace depending on loyalty. I think it's Persist makes it best Pod candidate. In more traditional GSZ based lists I like Ifh-Biff Efreet.
I always thought about the efreet when I played straight GB but never got around to testing him. Walkers have basically been the only things that I have been losing to really the past couple of weeks. Time to play more pulse I suppose
Thragtusk is the first thing that comes to mind for a Planeswalker killer, especially Jace 2.0 since his bounce actually allows you replay the Swag again.
Of course, if they have blockers, best bet is either Maelstrom Pulse or Creeping Tar Pit if running blue splash.

The simplest Nic Fit decks are always the best. You should look for what makes Nic Fit successful again and extrapolate on that. My guess is that Deed and Lily are great in a TNN meta because of the high presence of midrange decks, Blade Control decks, and decks with 0 basic lands. Cards like Innocent Blood, which are highly synergistic with Explorer and very effective against these strategies should be reconsidered rather than reviving the Nic Fit trend of playing unplayable cards "just cuz were good again". Also, Punishing Fire.
Do you know what assuming does? It makes an ass out of you and me.
Get it...? Ass, u, me?
... ffs I was trying to be funny...
As much as I would love to see Veteran Explorer go lethal with Assault and Nature's Will, I have to agree with Qweerios here: there comes a point where you have to be honest with yourself and say, "This does not work well enough to win."
That's not to say innovation is unwanted: in fact because of Nic Fit's core, it actually allows a ton more innovation than most other decks. Just need to use both empirical and theoretical discretion to make the right decision.
