When building a SB, a lot of cards are nice for sure, but the questions is to weight which are te 15 best to answer the MU we will most likely face.

Thanks for the answers about null rod, and I will like to hear more about it but I do not want to let my second question buried: if you had 4 Abrupt decay in your SB, will you automatically put them in in the MU where you include the 3 of them (SFM.decks, tempos & miracle)?
I'd rather have 3 Decay 2 Null Rod against Miracles & SFM.dec than 4 Decay 1 Null Rod. Against, say, BUG/RUG Delver is the main place where I'd want the 4th Decay, but BUG is already a favourable matchup and RUG on the downturn, so I think I'd lean towards 2 Null Rods. It's pretty close, though, Decay is a really good card.

How has the current SB plan been vs show and tell? Maybe make mind break trap into null rod, then a needle or two can become a different sort of SnT hate?

I'm not really sold on replacing Needles. Too useful against ~everything, including just plain random stuff. I'll be experimenting with Thorn/Trap alternatives, probably:
    2 Revoker
    1 Revoker, 1 Rod
    1 Revoker, 1 Decay

That is fair. What are your thoughts on running Pridemage/Harmonic Sliver vs. just having Viridian Shaman? My meta incidentally does happen to have Moats running around from time to time. I definitely think I will be mainboarding Shaman at least, due to a large amount of MUD and SFM decks, I am just unsure of how you guys value Sliver/Pridemage. I like Shaman because it allows your Wirewoods to really wreck a board with them.

In a fair meta where the two anti-combo slots aren't as badly needed, why not? No sense in leaving yourself open to blowouts.

    EDIT: Running this board atm:

    3 Swan Song
    3 Thoughtseize
    1 Cabal Therapy
    1 Progenitus
    1 Natural Order
    2 Pithing Needle
    1 Null Rod
    3 Abrupt Decay

Words fail to express just how much I despise Leyline of Sanctity.

    You're not alone.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Dann.. Lost the semi finals in a trial.

    Elves VS UWR Delver
    Elves VS UWR Delver

Me and the other Elves player both lost -_-

He won the die roll and had a snap keep both games, I had a mull to 6 and 5. Did cast NO with mana up for daze/Pierce but he had te FoW :'(! Needle for the lavamancer, virdian for cage, but no decay or symbiote for jitte ^^

I brought Elves, UWR Delver, ANT and Deathblade. Someone hired my LED's, and I don't want to play Deathblade. So I hope I can choose between the two and get some sleep ^_^!

Ignore all the Storm people from the Netherlands.
    Cut Ruric Thar.
Play one Crop Rotation main, and put a 2nd Rotation and a Karakas in the two free slots ^^

...I'll go away now with these terrible SB ideas :P

Okay. Just curious, seemed suspect. Anyone know if Julian made day 2? With 2 byes, I would assume that he did.

    Re: [DTB] Elves!

6-2-1'ed, heartbreaking. What can I say, Turn1 Seismic Assault >> Elves and I'm out. Also should probably have won that drawn match but opponent didn't want to concede, which was very well within his right.

Lost in the finals of a Trial on Friday, so I only had 1 Bye.

    R1: *BYE*
R2: GWb Hatebears w/ Zealous Persecution, 1-1-1 Draw
    R3: Esperblade, 2-0 W
    R4: Lands with Seismic Assault, 0-2 L
    R5: Miracles, 2-0 W (<- I just keep surfing )
R6: Junk Hexmages, 2-0 W (I had the sickest of reads; will tell later or on stream)
    R7: Esperblade, 0-2 L
    R8: Death and Taxes, 2-0 W
    R9: Shardless BUG, 2-0 W

But guys, honestly - thank you so much for saying "hi" and getting to know you. Also shoutouts to the three guys that had me sign their cards and especially my Greek friend (sorry man, what was your name again?) that wanted me to sign his entire deck. I don't feel I deserve it but it made me feel way more special than I really am.

Too bad I started out 2-1-1. They actually asked me for a feature match later + deck tech but resigned from that once I lost my first match

Can't win it all they say. Good luck to everyone playing tomorrow, especially all the awesome guys and girls I ran into. Also shoutouts to MTGMadness (and especially David!) for adding me to their team starting at this event!

BIG story time from this GP on my stream on Wednesday or Thursday. Promise!

I know how it feels to do something absurd like that. He probably worships the devil and has Satan Demonic Tutor powers to get whatever he wants
