    Ovino Top 24

    Hey guys,

Bob "Metagame" Huang is here again and needs your help!

Here is the Top 36 from Ovino. I would like to know the missing decks for a metagame analysis before GP NJ. Thanks!!

    1. Alexey Romanchuk - Merfolk
    2. Silvio Corbari - ANT
    3. Angelo Cadei - Miracles
    4. Tomas Vlcek - Miracles
    5. Roberto Libanore - Spiral Tide
    6. Anton Karlinski - Miracles
    7. Gabriele Tocchi - DeathBlade
    8. Jaume Bonet Restoy - RUG Delver
    9. Andrea Saita - Miracles
    10. Marco Montani - DeathBlade
    11. Fabio Di Pasquale - DeathBlade
    12. Ivan Fuseri - Dredge
    13. Danil Leontyev - ANT
    14. Luca Mcacagnan - EsperBlade
    15. Giulio Zorzi - Miracles
    16. Fabio Mezzo - DeathBlade
    17. Florian Stange - Burn
    18. Martin Vonasek - ANT
    19. Alessandro Smanio
    20. Andrea Bazzan - TES
    21. Petr Stuchly - Sneak and Show
    22. Davide Annunziata
    23. Andrej Rutar - Viking Funeral (UR Delver)
    24. Andrea Levratti
    25. Bernd Fritsch - Elves
    27. Michael Thiel - Nic Fit
    29. Riccardo Biava - Miracles
    30. Andrea Ghesini - UWR Delver
    36. Julian Knab - Elves

Definitely an interesting top metagame. The abundance of StoneBlade and lack of Delver is very surprising. Also no D&T, Show and Tell or Elves.

Just saying. Seems ripe for some white hate bears. I might even throw in a second choke into my board

id imagine that imperial painter would have WRECKED the format there...esper is pretty weak without equipment, and outside of equipment all they have is TNN which gets blasted....as does everything in miracles.

According to Sloshthedark who finished 18th there were 476 players in attendance. I'm guessing that easily makes this the 2nd largest non-wotc legacy event in Europe after the BoM?

    Re: Ovino Top 24

You should do Top36 as everyone from 17th to 36th place had the same record at 7-2.

    17th: Florian Stange on Burn
    25th: Bernd Fritsch on Elves
27th: Michael Thiel on Nic Fit aka "Wuascht Survival" with Deranged Hermit, Pulokranos and other fatties
    36th: me on Elves

    Here's the list:

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Not having 8th is maddening when trying to do a meta analysis, hopefully it'll be up on TC soon.

According to this website Restoy was on BUG Delver. They incorrectly list him in 16th place though.

29 is UWR Miracles, he played against UR Delver on screen, but his build seemed to deviate a bit from the norm, as he sided out a Crucible of Worlds.

@Julian23: Do you have a list for Wuascht Survival?

    Let's get a pool going!

    My vote is for Miracles.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel

Are people still counting the amount of TNNs in tourneys?
