With cards from Kahns already making an impact on the format, we have a quick review of how the delve cards are doing and also take an in depth look at a deck thats been doing surprisingly well while no-one was looking - Infect stompy.

Pretty good episode. I think the goldfishing wasn't needed, but I'm not against you doing it.

"Everyone is a hero. Even if you've only saved yourself."
For once, i was bored the entire time.
I couldnt say that i learned anything, or that I was really entertained.
I felt more like listening to a couple of kids at my local FNM.
Yes, i realize this is a 1% review, but ill be honest, as i was when i praised you :P
"Brainstorm and Fetchlands are interesting although I don't know if Brainstorms alone are worth it right now, because Stifle is a common card. " -Peddi 2015.
Sorry that you didn't enjoy the episode - what were you expecting to learn?
Does that mean that you agree with what we said about the deck? Did we get it right?
When you say a couple of kids at FNM, were we more juvenile than usual?
I'm interested to hear what you think we could have done to make the episode better.
I enjoyed your musings on the delve cards from KtK. The infect walk-through... less so. I think I'm less of a fan of the goldfishing than I thought I was. It's hard to convey through audio alone, at least to a point where it becomes relevant for a listening audience.
I really like you delving (pun-attack!) into one deck and really giving it a thorough walk-through though. Perhaps, instead of goldfishing, you could do a "basic strategy against... Tempo, combo, control etc." bit.
Anyway,
Still great to get new content![]()

Yh man. Cheers for the honesty, it'll help us hone what works and what doesn't :). I think a part of it was neither of us had really played the deck so much, so were on our first thoughts rather than a more in depth analysis...
I LIKE PUN ATTACKS. Also - yeah, can see what you mean about the goldfishing. We actually normally do it the way you say, but a few people asked for a more goldfish-y approach sometimes, and we thought we'd mix it up. Its hard without the audience being able to see whats going on....
Well thanks for your continued listening guys, and your input is very welcome :).

Hey, great episode, as usual!
I'd like to point out that Vines of Vastwood is in fact NOT hexproof. The current Oracle text is exactly as printed, which is relevant if you play Vines on an opponent's creature.
A good spot! Its very true, and makes the mirror pretty hilarious/tactical :)
