I don't think that that has to be a bad idea. Dig Through Time is a lot better.
hey im completely new to this forum, but have been a big fan of nicfit for awhile.

Your list looks amazing! Really well thought out and overall well balanced. Have you been playing it in tourneys? If yes how were the results?
wow! i played with something similar when cruise was allowed, now i think this deck has got even better.
here is the list(without sideboard):
4 Veteran Explorer 2 Baleful Strix 1 Coiling Oracle
1 Scavenging Ooze 1 Grave Titan 1 Thragtusk
4 Cabal Therapy 2 Green Sun's Zenith
4 Brainstorm 2 Ponder 4 Force of Will 3 Dig Through Time
3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor 3 Pernicious Deed 3 Abrupt Decay
3 Polluted Delta 3 Misty Rainforest 3 Verdant Catacombs
3 Island 1 Swamp 2 Forest
2 Bayou 3 Tropical Island 2 Underground Sea
The only problem I have with the blue lists is that GSZ doesn't find your blue bombs, and you're cutting many green bombs.
Keep testing everything though, since it's all very awesome!
-Matt
yah our lists are very similar. the only thing that my testing has found is the awkwardness of having island and abrupt decay in your opening hand.
the deck has had very solid gameplay against stoneblade and deathblade decks. sometimes i wish i had the space to have some mainboard disfigure to slow down some of the hyper aggressive delver decks, but overall the delver match-up isn't terrible.
miracles has been solid to. the last tournament i had a fun of karn liberated in my sideboard and i got my miracles opponent locked-out with a karn and jace in play. the deck plays bigger than miracles but going to time can be an issue as both decks dont really play that fast.
the one deck i seem to have trouble with is sneak and show. i feel like i have the right tools but i feel like i dont draw right. im hoping that adding the liliana will shore the match up a bit more in my favour.
i haven't played in a bunch of tournaments with it but more casually.
the deck has preformed decent in tournaments but this list is the one im playing this week. im hoping that the counterspell, liliana and maelstrom pulse help play more into the control shell vs. cards i had before that were more situational.
Well, I know 3 players with nic fit day 2, all with different versions. BUG pod, nic shift (not sure if wishes) and mine the stoneforge fit.
I am exhausted(stupid 10 hour drive), so hopefully I will be able to give a summary later this week.

Here is the first Nic Fit result in a MTGO daily event in a while.
Not sure where to start or what to comment on, but wanted to share it with the group.
I don't think you need 2 Recurring Nightmare. I'd try 1 Nightmare, 1 Diabolic Intent if I were you.
-Matt
Personally i think that Rercurring Nightmares are too cute for this deck. The deck has a decent velocity. Apart from that you run the Two Towers (same role?).
Siege Rhino is a 4 drop, but relying on Veteran Explorer to ramp is in my personal experience not a good idea. A while back i switched to 3 Veteran/4 Dearhrite Shaman. If you cut the Recurry's and an Explorer you have the split. The good thing about 4 DRS is that those pressure your opponent Graveyard, Life Points and/or negates Burn (more or less) and while doing so enables you to ramp faster (into Siege Rhino, weee). Maybe the greatest part about DRS is that it forces your opponent to play removal on it. And with having 4 it is ok. One last + is that with 3 Carpet of Flowers on the board you can easiliy switch to those and not loose any velocity. Before i ran the split i found myself more often more screwed.
Then Thrun and Finks. Personally i think those are obsolete in this build and you might wanna consider 1 Primeval Titan (two towers) and the 4th Siege Rhino.
and Karakas is a reason for me to play the Junk lust. + Sigarda, + Gaddock Teeg.
Last Sunday i made a top8 in a 30p tournament with Junk Nic Pod, losing like an as***le by shardless Bug there, a very good MUI've beaten Miracles, Deathblade and a SmallPox Junk without too many problems: this deck really crushes fair deck.
Totally love it and i want to bring it to next (bigger) tournament this sunday
If you are splashing white, and there is not a preponderance of GY hate mainboard in your meta I would seriously contemplate Academy Rector. She fetches deed Nightmare, Moat if you own one ( I don't but am working on it), Hell it gets Archtype of endurance or Omni if you want. If you do plan on running her might also suggest diabolic intent as a one or two of. That is a spicy meatball.
Edit forgot Baneslayer I love seeing sneak and show players run Grizzleband into her and them thinking they gain life.
I forgot to mention to run Path to Exile.

Run Path over Swords.

I'm running the BUG Pod version, and I'm torn between Sensei's Divining Top and Brainstorm for the 1-drop card selection slot. What are the merits of each? I like how Top is a continuous source of digging, but Brainstorm lets me get rid of dead cards.
And has anybody tried cards like Brain Maggot (Mesmeric Fiend, Tidehollow Sculler, etc.)? I like the idea of having a tutorable hand-disruption card on a body, but the anti-synergy with Pod and Therapy seem bad.
Brainstorm is just a better card, always play 4 Brainstorm before the first Top. Even more with synergetic stuff like Pod, Dig Through Time and/or Force of Will.
Mesmeric Fiend is not playable, usually just a bad Thoughtseize. Entomber Exarch is a pretty solid and flexible discarder for Pod lists.
