Suggestion: read the thread, and if you do something specifically different, actually test it and post those test results. Not goldfish results.

kuroko16, after testing you might want a 3/4 split of Dig Through Time/Preordain instead of a 4/3 split. When I tested 4 DTT I found I was often stuck with one in hand unable to cast it, wishing it was a Preordain which would have got me one more card in the graveyard and a possible three cards deeper into my deck for U. Swap the ratio around and see how it goes for you.

Against some white decks it's also not 100% (Miracles and Death-N-taxes immediately come to mind). While I might still just jam 7 copies of Show and Tell if that was allowed, when 4 of them cost 5, I'd rather just play Dream Halls to begin with. It can't be broken up over multiple turns, but that's not actually a huge deal given that turn 2 Burning Wish is a fantasy due to the immense amounts of cantrips the deck possesses. Dream Halls also lets you win in situations where you otherwise would not be able or want to cast Show and Tell. It's handy as something that you can actually Show and Tell into play (alleviating the need to find an Omniscience).

This is ignoring, for the moment, the benefits to playing a mono blue or mono blue splashing a single dual manabase. This is important in a world where the format's velocity stalls slightly to enable Wasteland from decks like RUG Delver and Shardless BUG.

Other than potential extra copies of Show and Tell (at dubious value), red doesn't offer you anything that you couldn't get for a single Volc if you wanted it out of the sideboard. Playing some Pyroclasms or red blasts out of the board is possible (although I'll argue that white and black splashes are significantly better).
emidln, I ran the Red splash and thought it was garbage, quite honestly. I like the Black splash (Thoughtseize and Massacre/Toxic Deluge) but what is your White splash?

When I ran 4 Dig it just clunked up the hand a lot like you said, though right now I'm running 3 Dig main and one in the board and it has been completely ridiculous as a wish target, it is pretty much my go to target now.

I've been trying Vendilion Clique in the sideboard over my 2 Jace, TMS with mixed results. Jace is great vs stax, pox, nic-fit and similar slow decks (mostly without blue and red). He's also great versus combo where show and tell is unreliable (reanimator, sneak and show, the mirror and so on) and finally he's still a powerhouse vs miracles/shardless even though these decks can easier stop him from taking over the game. Clique serves a similar role in that it's a card we want in attritionbased matchups and against combo (even though it's great vs all combo, not just the slow ones). The big difference is that it can be played at your opponent's end step to get a counterspell out of his hand. Both serves the role as a wincon vs combo and control. At first I was hoping it would block meddling mage but that seems to narrow to ever be a reliable way to remove it. Jace is actually better as you can show and tell->omni and use jace to bounce the hatebear they put in from Show and tell. I think clique is better in more matchups but at the same time I haven't had much problem beating combo lately so I am not sure I need it. Clique serves a similar role to both flusterstorm, defense grid and Boseiju. Do you guys think I should perhaps remove something else to make room for both clique and jace? Cut Defense Grid? The powerlevel of Jace is through the roof and if he comes down against stax turn 3 it's hard to lose where nothing else but show and tell would cut it.

I've been discussing sideboard Personal Tutor for matchups where it's just a race. I think we are favored here allready (goblins, burn etc) but at the same time it could be nice to have something to bring when we want to race. Anyone tried it out? I really dislike it in the maindeck.

The life loss is also relevant. Basically, you want to LDV for a 3-or 4-of, not 1-of.

IMO, LDV can be utilized in a 3 color build with B.Wish which does not run Dream Halls. That build is already vulnerable to Wasteland with Volcanic Island and to Spell Snare with B.Wish.

Currently, I am actually asking myself, "Can a deck with 4 Brainstorm, 4 Ponder, 4 Preordain, and 3 Dig Through Time get any more consistent?" And I'm thinking the answer is, "Probably not."

If you wanted to play LDV you'd need a playset of Gitaxian Probe, so you have a better chance of laying your hands on that top card you want the same turn you cast it (or if you're EoTing it, the top two cards on the next turn).

Honestly you can probably get away with 1 swamp 1 sea. Since the deck is mono color it's very rare for you to get cut off of blue in your starting hand, you might be forced to run more fetches however. The reason I like tutors, is because preordains don't get me there many times I don't find it constant enough at all and Dig is not a early game spell and many decks can out race it since Omnitell lack interactions. Ideally I would like the deck to be able to assemble the combo <=t3 75% of the time. But I will give it a shot with LDV and post some feedback so it's not just pure speculation.

I ran P.tutor for the longest time as a 2 of main (I think it replaced preordains). I actually found it pretty good. Many times you can t1 tutor t2 show and tell and seal the game. The problem is it doesn't fetch all the pieces (like Omni) and it's fairly bad if you're behind.

What do you folks think of Jace? I've seen 2 in the main in some lists, and 2 in the board in others. He seems very strong, but also slows our deck down, making us more of a t4+ combo than a t3- combo.

In a discard heavy meta would you consider running Personal Tutor? Am thinking of replacing 1 Preordain for it to act as the 5th Show and Tell. List am running is the Mono Ub build with 3 thoughtseize main
Currently playing: BUG Nic Fit (combo /or control version)

I just sideboard 2 flusterstorm then take out 2 fow. Heavy discard is slow and you have ddt so eventually you cast ddt fast because of them, then get your combo pieces to kill them.

I forget -1 g probe +1 s extraction target their discard spell is a big factor

Is Polymorphist's Jest worth the side slot? Against what deck do you use it in what situation?

Also, Firemind's Foresight as a wishboard target with only 1 Impulse as a 2cc card? Or am I missing some other 2cc card?

Why not simply 1 Eladamri's Call in the wishboard?

    Re: [DTB] MonoU OmniTell

Also, when talking about splashes I could see us trying out green splash for SB Xantid swarm over Defense grid + Boseiju for an asymmetrical effect which dodges Spell Pierce, Spell Snare and Wasteland in a heavy blue meta without much Chalice of the Void @ 1.

However, can someone think of a second green or UG card which would make the splash worth running? E.g. 1-2 of in the main deck.

P jest is good against DnT and mavs because they are hatebears. Sneak and show match up, i use it to delay them then combo on my turn.
I dont know any good green card for mainboard.
Eladamri's call is good if you only have 1 emarakul but i have it three plus if you cantrip you can always get emrakul or your combo pieces.
Xantid swarn is not better for our deck. D grid is much better.
I dont know if ug is great but ub or uw splash is much better. In japan they splash omnitell is ub. Check happymtg on youtube or tcdecks.net

And also f foresight is good if dhalls is into the battlefield and i need more blue cards to cast a spell and combo it is also good to fetch my sb that i put to mainboard (ex: s extraction, tbind, p jest)...
I used to have 3 ddt before but it seems the 3rd ddt is a dead card so thats the reason why i chose impulse plus i can fetch it using f foresight.

Good point about Dream Halls + Foresight synergy. Eladamri does not have synergy with Dream Halls. My build runs less Dream Halls than your build which explains some of our wishboard differences.

Other people have agreed in this thread that DTT #4 is not worth running because we don't want duplicate DTT in early game. However, you raise an interesting point that maybe Impulse #1 is more valuable than DTT #3. I have not tested this myself.

As for green MD card, Eureka is an extra SnT effect but the double green in 2GG is a significant problem for us. It really opens us to Wasteland, which sounds counterproductive.

F foresight will save you against v clique. Before its always my problem SaT resolve then v clique into play take out emrakel or ent. But now SaT resolve put omni into play v clique for my opponent then i cast c wish get f foresight then get brainstorm impulse c wish, cast impulse then brainstorm and i cast cwish get RtA to kill my opponent. Remember not to cast impulse (use it only if necessary) always hide it to your library. I made my sb a toolbox for high percentage of winning every match...

Ive tried ub and ur before but there are times that you need a plan b so dreams halls is my plan b. So if you have dhalls i prefer mono blue because of the the interaction that you can do...

Some players had MD Boseiju in recent Japanese tournaments. Thought on it?
I hear they got twisters miles wide in the Midwest.

Vulnerable to Wasteland; great at resolving SnT vs blue.

MD worthy if there is a lot of 3 color delver or similar tempo/tax counter decks in the metagame whose greedy manabase does not allow them to play Wasteland + Stifle.
