G2/G3 doesn't feel that bad - G1 is pretty much just the stuff of nightmares where they have everything ever that makes life hell for you.

I don't see any changes happening.
March 23th 2015, to be precise... I believe you are right, testing32: no big changes, unless they get really drunk the night before and decide to go all crazy...
Which would be really, really funny, but not that realistic... Really funny, though![]()
It has been awfully quiet here. Can i conclude that every one is happy with the current meta?
They unbanned WGD last round, think maybe something else is coming of?
No, I don't. Just hoping Wizards keeps printing original CA-spells outside of blue in liue of LftL, Confidant, Library. Preferably something that BS decks can't splash. Then I can keep playing with my beloved Brainstorms, in peace.
It would be awesome if they decided that Earthcraft would be safe to come off the banlist. I don't think it is that broken anymore (Grip, decay, CB,...) but I guess we can still keep dreaming :)
Edit: BTM was just faster than me :)
I doubt anything is going to be unbanned until they can do another of their stupid "prisoner exchange"-bans/unbans after printing something utterly stupid.
Well they did surprise me with unbanning WGD and not something like Mind Twist, Black Vise or Earthcraft as the most obvious choices. They may yet suprise us again... or not. But i do not believe it is a "give-take" policy. Treasure Cruise was an obvious brainfart. The community is hoping for some unbannings for some time now. Hopefully they come to realize that people actually like casting (near) broken spellchains into or not into creatures as a way of winning. That instead of what they try to achieve with modern formats (not just Modern) by combat (or controlling that).
I think that Dragon was chosen because it had a small chance of working as competitive deck while being extremely unlikely to be problematic. Mind Twist is definitely too weak without Drain to go into any deck, and Vise is likely in the same camp. Survival and Earthcraft are likely safe, but could actually spawn serious decks, and that's probably what they're scared of.
As for "prisoner exchange" bannings/unbannings, I think that the meta hasn't settled into an equilibrium in such a long time that it hasn't been clear how to approach unbannings. This might change soon as the BUG Delver vs. Miracles meta we had before Cruise seems to be coming back, and while I think that matchup is a ton of fun to play, the meta that surrounds it is getting pretty stale and is likely to get staler as both of those decks start to build more to face each other and their mirror matches.
isn't the next announcement suppose to be right now?
