    GP Kyoto discussion

So how many Sourcers travelled to Japan to play there?

And has anybody a link for the stream?

Kai (Swasitrix...or something; sorry I'm bad with names) is there playing Storm.

He also recently moved from Berlin to Japan to work for a card shop full time. He said the stream would be somewhere on http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv216710139

    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Appearently, if you don't have a premium account, the stream stops every 1-2 minutes or so for premium advertisement.

Yeah, this is awful. I especially like getting booted every 30 secs and having to refresh.

Sad times, anyone know if there is another stream of the event? Twitch?

    Here's the stream FYI
Check out my Legacy UBTezz Primer. Chalice of the Void: Keeping Magic Fair.
    -----
Playing since '96. Brief forced break '02-04. Former/Idle Judge since '05. Told Smmenen to play faster at Vintage Worlds.
    -----
Most of the 'Ban brainstorm!' arguments are based on the logic that 'more different cards should get played in Legacy', as though the success or health of the format can be measured by the portion of cards that are available and see play. This is an idiotic metric.

Aren't they just going to have a version on Twitch? This is disheartening.

I think if you fullscreen it, it screws up the ad-thing.

I don't want to have to use Google Chrome to Translate into English because I'll lose my Ad-Block+ and I don't want to sign-up for the website just to watch it. #Lazy

I'm disappointed they couldn't send an English coverage team there.

The Twitch restream is okay, but I'm annoyed that the NicoNico comments on the screen aren't disabled.

Edit: Now the restream got nuked by ads as well.

I`ll disable them tonight for Day 2 coverage.

When is the stream gonna start? I thought Day2 was already underway.

Thanks. This also will result in the stream actually being saved somewhere we can watch; Nico Video only lets you watch streams after the fact with a premium subscription.

Thanks a lot for doing that Julian. Fellow Twitchers deserve to watch it.

It's pretty incredible, that Wizards let the Japanese Gp's have this bad of coverage.

    Thanks for restreams!

Any idea as to what is at the top tables right now? I saw miracles and fish.

According to the breakdown the biggest decks are Delver Variants, Omnishow, Miracles and Elves. Sawatarix (Kai Thiele) has a good shot at Top 8, currently 11th place in the standings.

    Apparently he's in.
