To add my own clarification for B, its often hard to be proactive with this deck, and often the correct thing to do is sit back and wait. As a Lands player you should have some familiarity with using Glacial Chasm correctly, but now imagine being handicapped by not having Loam shenanigans to back you up on that. Being dumb with Chasm has easily been the most consistent way I punt games.
and a blocker obviously right? well i guess i'll have to run that card.
i'm still light on blue staples.... i bought the cheaper blue stuff like: Standstill, Submerge, Stifle, Mindbreak Trap, Glen Elendra Archmage, Venser, Shaper Savant.
Am i missing something in the budget blue that's worth having near by?
jesus what's up with cavren of souls? nobody seems to have this card and it's the only card i'm missing besides FOW and S&T. damn it was the first i wanted to getit really seems a must have in the deck at least as a 1of...
oh, you can't understand how much I miss this in GW version..... easy control of the game in early turn, letting you enough time to finish with eldrazi/titan. and S&T, easy fat guy on turn 3. and BEB, price of progress is game for oppononent 80% of time (yes, I can crop into chasm, but burn keeps every shot in hand until i cannot pay chasm)....

I still haven't figured out where Awakening goes.
Monogreen (or at least my version, not the GSZ version) is getting a bit worse with the rise of OmniTell, which is one of the worst matchups. However, it's better than UG against Elves, which seems poised for a massive resurgence with that BG drain elf from Origins.

In paper, the cost/availability of Candelabras and Tabernacle is also a major limiting factor. In pure numbers, it's no more expensive than Delver. But instead of being spread out over staples like duals, Wastelands, and Goyfs, your money is concentrated in very narrow hard-to-find cards. Getting in is a significant commitment, since the only other deck you can use $1000+ worth of Candelabras in is High Tide.

Exactly, do your bank account a favor and don’t play this deck. just a few pages back I was writing that I will take it slow and won’t be spending much on this. Now look at me I don’t even want to calculate how much I spent on this deck and will be running only 1 candelabra. Despite this massive spending I’m still missing some of the key cards.
If I don’t report back I was probably murdered by my girlfriend as she still doesn’t know about this awesome new deck
Okay enough nonsense let’s talk business. Which list would you recommend I start with? As you know I’m missing FOW, S&T, tabernacle and cavern of souls. I probably have all other cards that were popping up in this forum including the GW version.
Which versions runs best without the cards I’m missing?
Which of the missing cards would you recommend I buy first – S&T?
Many thanks.
Incidentally, new mulligan rule is huge for 12post.

i will try my best for day 2 (-:
byes are for girls!
I absolutely disagree. Top is far more ideal to have as it can dig you to lands and threats. Stirrings is a 1 time effect that usually finds lands. If you want to run the new card to get the ramp and put more lands into play, it should replace stirrings. Maybe explore if not stirrings.
