My build is obviously a bit different (especially with Knight giving me another source for Crop Rotations), but the general idea for me is simple:
Go for it, if either
1. You know they can't interact with it (because they generally don't play any relevant interaction or because you have perfect information).
2. You are pretty sure you don't have the time to win any other way.
I usually don't search it up with Titan. The most typical situation would be against combo or aggro decks, one combo piece in play, at their end step use Crop Rotation to search up the other one and kill them. Especially against combo decks you often want to hold up Crop Rotation, if you don't have to use it to defend yourself you can use it to kill them instead.
Against Karakas or StP i don't go for the combo either, often i board out the Dark Depths in those matchups. The better the main plan gets, the worse the Depths combo gets - but that's ok, we want it for the matchups where the main plan is usually not fast enough.
Thanks. I can see that Dawnstrider is there for these matchups, but it seems rather slow especially if you are tapping out on turn 3 to zenith for it.
I no longer use Stage/Depths, but when I did I went for it as soon as possible if the matchup (in my games these were Shardless, Pox, Merfolk, Elves, Burn, Storm) means it's an immediate kill. I stopped playing the combo because it wasn't necessary in the latter three matchups and was too unreliable vs. Shardless (Strix/Jace/Liliana are easy for them to find) and Merfolk (who bring in Clique, bounce, or Sower).
a.k.a. Eddy Viscosity
Play the matchup, crop into Chasm is how you survive their lethal attack , save some turns gsz for strider for the lock.
Yep I cut dark depths because I no longer play into the north and the combo is too risky vs the fieldI no longer use Stage/Depths, but when I did I went for it as soon as possible if the matchup (in my games these were Shardless, Pox, Merfolk, Elves, Burn, Storm) means it's an immediate kill. I stopped playing the combo because it wasn't necessary in the latter three matchups and was too unreliable vs. Shardless (Strix/Jace/Liliana are easy for them to find) and Merfolk (who bring in Clique, bounce, or Sower).
Use to be an advocate of this combo, only good if you play 7+ ways to search for not including prime time, it is just too slow of a combo and easily stopped. If you use resources to go for instead of posts it is usually the wrong play if there is a chance your opponent can stop it.. in this meta it is pretty slow and frustrating to lose with (dark depths not being able to produce mana or go for it and losing because you went for it). I love thespians stage since it copies chasm for extra turns and also any land on the field, great vs lands because you can copy their dark depths.
I used to run Depths/Stage combo but I hated it. If you draw Depths naturally, there is about a 98% chance you will hate yourself. Stage or even Wasteland at least have some utility, but I'm pretty sure Depths is just not worth it.
In other news: GP hype! Hoping to see some of you there! May all your matches be Miracles :)
Yes, you probably need Candelabra if you're running a Cloudpost deck.
Last minute mini Sideboarding primer for my GP peoples! Go out and smash that thing.
Disclaimer. This is a GUIDELINE for sideboarding. And absolutely not a must-substitute list. Treat every matchup as an isolated environment and make intelligent decisions.

If Reclamation Sage is coming in for so many match ups in your list, why aren't you just main boarding it? Especially since it seems like you want it in some of the most common match ups like Miracles, Eldazi, Death and Taxes and Delver Variants. Just a curiosity. I am assuming that it is because the main board is already pretty good in those match ups but it replaces some of the more "dead" draws while answering what they may board in.

Thus far thr GP day 1 has a 4-1 update from a local ringer running my build. Will update as follows.
made day 1 gp prague 7-2 so now please just Miracles :)
I finally got a day 2 berth at a GP, going 6-2-1. I actually played two 12post mirrors, including an epic match against machooga that went to time as a draw. I had no byes, so I had to play the whole nine rounds. Somehow managed to dodge combo completely, but in return I was not given even a single Miracles opponent. I will provide much more information at some point after the event.
Good luck to all fighting the good fight tomorrow! Our deck is on the up and up!
Fingers crossed for you guys. I'll be at work dreaming of stomping with post.
4-4 with my list..
No storm but to many random decks after a 2:0 start..
I lose to a miserable missplay against dnt..
The other lose was against a bant list with daze fow and knight 4 wasteland includinh TS, shaman and Decay..
I was 4:2 and hoping for a normal deck but i played against aRUG standstill with to much hate like ee main and wastelands..also he had the nuts two times (3fows and 3 wastes)..
So 4:3 and still hoping for day 2 but no eldrazi crushed me after two incredible nuts draws.. g1 like chalice into mimic ,seer into seer. G2 t 3 kill..
Well hopefully a other guy with 12 post goes top 8
Good luck!
