If Gearhulk doesn't end the game, it increases our exposure to Surgical Extraction-type effects on our fatties.

If ya got it down, yeah. I usually end up with Blood Moon when I need Chalice, and Chalice when I need Blood Moon.

If someone brings in Surgical Extraction in against us. Our opponent is dumb as hell.

Anyone test the Gearhulk yet? I haven't had much time to play recently.

I played against a mono-red deck using Gearhulk online. I won against it playing Stasis, of all things. So, no, I don't think it's great.

When he cast the Gearhulk, I was at 15. I shrugged and he went off, doming me for 11. Who cares? As long as he can't do the last 4, I win the game.

EXTREME PUNISHER card is still just a Punisher.

You mean to tell me that the Stasis/counter spell deck actually beat the deck that wants to alpha strike on 1 big turn? And your 1 game small sample playing a really fringe deck is enough definitive proof to tell me that it's not good?

This seems reasonable, I will listen to every knee jerk thing you say.

    Top 8'd a 2k this weekend.

Ran 1 hulk main. The two times he came down it was "draw 3, shut down goyf till everything's in the yard". Seemed fine, he's nothing incredible, but seems to make the cut as card 59/60 for me.

Interesting list. How are you liking the 3 Crystal Vein? I just run 1, but sometimes I like it better than CoT.

meh, got sick of sandstone needle coming in tapped. It's a suitable replacement, still helps going off early if you need, not coming in tapped makes sequencing easier.

Saw Hiser top16 SCG classic with Combustible Gearhulk mono red sneak.

Hiser, is that new addition working for you?

Honestly I'm torn on the gearhulk. I will need to test it a lot more.
BUT Chandra was amazing every time she hit the board.

Is this Chandra better than Pyromaster version? Where does this version shine brightest?

Yes, this Chandra is a ton better. All her abilities are just nuts.

Despite me being a huge doubter of new chandra... I think I might have to try her out.
