I will be following Noloam and adding in an Ulamog for testing. I still don't like the Ratchet bomb I will be cutting one for the Ulamog but keeping one until I decide of a better card.
Also, I stand corrected about using the Ulamog for SnT or Omni-tell MU. I realized the trigger is a cast not EtB for the Ulamog so it would not hit off the resolved Show and Tell.
My current Sideboard
4 - Thorn of Amethyst
4 - Leyland of the Void
2 - All is Dust
1 - Ratchet Bomb
1 - Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
1 - Pithing Needle
1 - Karakas
1 - Endbringer

Hey guys, I have been experementing with a whole new build of eldrazi. My very first thoughts were:
how can I improve my matchups against grixis, reanimator, aggro loam and of course shardless bug? all not very favorable matchups
how can I handle creatures like Baleful Strix, deathrite and goyf, that are extremely annoying? losing a smasher to a strix is very painful!!!
how can I handle creatures against counter magic? I used to play 2 dismember main and 3 warping wail in my sideboard. One single counter can screw you!
I had the feeling that there is way more hate against eldrazi than a couple of weeks/months ago. People play more copies of balefulstrix, you see more diabolic edicts and so on.
I came up with a very strange solution. First it was just a crazy experiment and I thought this is never going to work. After 20 Matches online I changed my mind. This is my plan.
I play mono black eldrazi. It is the improved list of my Oblivion sower build. The synergies are incredible. Here the actual list:
4 Wasteland Strangler
4 Oblivion Sower
4 TKS
4 Smasher
4 Mimics
4 matter reshaper
1 ulamog
3 faerie macabre (maybe I only need 2, but I have to do more testing)
4 chalice of the void
2 dismember
4 Cities
4 ancient tomb
4 eye of ugin
4 eldrazi temple
4 cavern of souls
3 urborg
3 caves of coilos
Wasteland strangler has been amazing. These are the reasons:
- happened twice yesterday: Opponent played first turn deathrite. I play eldrazi temple/citie/tomb. Opponent plays ancestral visions. Now I play cavern, cast wasteland strangler, put visions into his graveyard and kill his deathrite and take away his 3-card-draw. and I get to keep a 3/2 creature
- mother of runes cant give protection because strangler has devoid. so you´re way more flexible
- Synergy with oblivion sower. you exile 4 cards. now you can handle more creatures with strangler
- synergy between O-Sower and Faerie macabre. Before you cast sower, you remove 2 lands in opponents graveyard, best case are wastelands. then you get even more lands. and if you only get fetchies, there you got your urborg for
- you always have enough cards in opponents exile: TKS, Sower, Ulamog, macabre and of course your opponent exiles cards too. with deathrite, visions, gurmag angler ...
- once I blocked with reshaper, cycled into a strangler and killed another creatures. I can tell you, this feels good. Thats why you need 4 reshapers
- wasteland strangler and faerie => obvious
- against burn you can for example remove riftbolt from exile and kill his goblin guide or remove cards to avoid grim lavamancer damage
- you have a removal that cant be countered if you have a cavern. no daze or spell pierce/force can. thats amazing, cause often you pay 4 life for dismember and it just gets countered
- you can attack with reshaper, it gets blocked by goyf and after combat you cast strangler to kill the goyf
- once I attacked with TKS. then second main phase I cast strangler, removed ancestral visions, then gave TKS -3/-3
others reasons why this build works:
- you have maindeck-solutions against marit lage. thanks to your black mana you can hardcast macabre and block marit lage. so you get at least one more turn and maybe can raise him. If you don´t have macabre, you´re dead immedeately
- you have maindeck-solutions against reanimator with macabre
- you have maindeck-solutions against dredge for obvious reasons: first you remove their dredger, later you can remove bridges ...
- you can use your cavern to make macabre uncounterable and use it against moat. and if it gets sworded you tried at least.
- you can stop your opponent in turn 2 to use deathrite by eating the lands
- against aggro loam and lands, you can eat the wastelands to stop the loam-wasteland combo
- it is great against knight of the reliquary, because you can remove 2 lands before damage, so KotR loses 2 power
- you even can cast them to hit your opponenent in air
- you even cast ulamog faster, because you can remove more lands with macabre that you can bring back with sower
- you not only kill more creatures, you get a 3/2. and most of the time, you only pay 1 Black thanks to eye of ugin
I won over 70% of the matches (all in all about 30 matches online/paper). First my friends said, this card is to weak for legacy, but after a few rounds we realized the potential/synergy of this 3 cards (strangler, sower, macabre). I´m really stunned so far. Meta is changig so I guess we have to change our strategies too
I would appreciate some comments. Give me your suggestions, maybe tipps for even more synergies. Thanks
I had my first Miracles loss. Double Blood Moon, I have failed you all.
On a side note I will be planning on setting up a twitch stream tomorrow. Anyone interested in watching send me a private message. I'll be using Noloam last 74 with one variant card still deciding what I want.

Hey guys. I'm 8-1 going into day 2 of the Baltimore Open.
3-0 Miracles
2-0 D&T
1-0 BG Depths
1-0 Infect
1-0 Stoneblade (Shaheen Soorani, main deck B2B)
0-1 Deathblade
Congrats on your Day 1 finish, what is your 75? I was going to go to this event but due to getting married last month and not having the deck on paper and buying it finally this weekend, I decided to stay home. I was playing Grixis Delver in paper till I started to play Eldrazi to ridiculous results, currently 71-23.
P.S. - If anyone is interested in Grixis Delver cards send me a PM

I am testing against the mirror, decks that go big, enchantress Nic Fit, Stoneblade, Miracles anything that goes late really. Not sold on it, just trying it out.
Going live again https://www.twitch.tv/orangeshield
Just took down a 21 person win a volcanic with the deck.
Still can't believe it... deck was running hot today.
Sry for the late reply. Basically it is NoLoam and Darkness list with some minor changes in mana base and Displacer taking the place of burnt Ape.

Just slinged some games for GPT Chiba. 7 round swiss took losses early so cannot ID.
1-1 vs Miracles
1-0 vs Infect
0-1 vs DnT
2-0 vs Reanimator Variants
1-0 vs TES
Beat Elves in Top 8 where Revoker nailed those annoying mana elves to slow em down. Died to BG Turbo Depths in top 4. Needle on Wasteland/Karakas hurts and the deck is so much faster than RG Lands that I cant find the white mana i need for Displacer in time.![]()

Warping Wail is by far my favorite card ever printed after this weekend. It slices, dices, and every bit is amazing.
Observations: I like sower over endbringer so far. I got blood mooned by my miracles opponents twice today and that was just insane to slam after they did that.
