Most interactive, complex and varied combo deck?

I have always played control decks, but want to try playing a combo deck. I like to face many decision when playing magic, and I like interactive games. Out of tier 1 and tier 2 combo decks, which is the most interactive, complex and varied to play?

Perhaps Elves. It can switch between fairly different game plans, has plenty of internal interactions and decisions, doesn't fold to their interaction, and can interact with opposing strategies (moreso postboard).

Lands, Elves and TES I would argue are your most likely options. Elves and Lands take a lot of practice to play right, TES takes a good analytical mind and the ability to quote your 75 from memory.

If I was to make a suggestion it would be be between Elves and Lands though. Then the question becomes Combo Aggro or Combo Control.
It is better to ask and look stupid then keep your mouth shut and remain so.

Would not take TES, as it suffers from the common metagame hate in form Wasteland/Chalice/Counterbalance and essentially you have only two ways to win, which I feel is too narrow for the OPs taste even if there are half a dozen ways to setup these two traits for winning (EtW & ToA).

I would agree on elves as it can go control, combo and aggro all in one deck and is very complex to master with all the potential triggers in each players turn and MBable outs to said hate

ANT imo. There are many derp I win lines, but post board games get extremely tricky. Boarding in itself can be tricky trying not to dilute the deck and such.

I think it lacks the "complex and varied to play" part

Don't forget about Splinter Twin as stupid as it may sound.

The deck has put up some decent results in the last couple of months and depending on how exactly you want to build it (more of an stompy style with Chalice/Moon or more of the Tempo plan) you have a ton of different play patterns available.

Sounds like you've settled on Elves, but I'll throw in a +1 on Aluren and Doomsday. LED Dredge and Painter are also pretty interesting.
