Throw in some Young Peezies for good measure.

I'm no dredgemage, but this seems really good?

Interesting yes but not good enough for a deck that has very few flex slots.
As you need dudes in play to cast stuff from your graveyard they seem kinda redundant.
Getting meat to sac is the harder struggle and none of them are cast so I suppose you want Amalgam over this.

I get what you're saying, but I think you're massively under evaluating the card if you're putting it under Amalgam.

    Care to elaborate?

Amalgam triggers once at the end of turn. This triggers every time. It can be used to pay for it's own trigger condition. It triggers on any spell, so anything with flashback. Anything that exiles and copies (so rebound). It is a much stronger card than amalgam. Plus its color weight is 2C instead of 1CC

It is almost certainly going to be run in Dredge in some number. I think it will also be run in Madness decks as well. For Dredge, LED --> flashback Faithless Looting will bring this into play. For Madness, Faithless Looting --> Walla and this.

While I see that point, it heavily depends on the context.

Thinking about manaless dredge, only Gaak, Therapy and Dread Return trigger it.
All of them require you to already have creatures in play to do something.
    For comparison, Amalgam triggers from:
    • Narcomoeba
    • Nether Shadow
    • Ichorid
    • Hogaak
    • Dread Return

Moeba, Shadow and Ichorid don't require dudes on the field.
It really depends on the problem you're building around.
Do you need more dudes fast or do you need initial meat to get going?

There might me more of a use case in LED dredge with flashback draw spells but those are also tight on slots.

Maybe there is a combo somewhere.
I was thinking it would work with Food Chain, but that deck doesn't need this at all.

Who wants to Tinker for Griselbrand?

OK, I know, I was joking. But, still would be funny.

This card seems almost there for Legacy, but probably not.

Before any other synergies or build-around, that card gives you a 3/3 just for cracking a fetch.

    What else?

    Uro
    Snapcaster Mage
    Expressive Iteration
    Elvish Reclaimer
    Brazen Borrower
    Crucible of Worlds
    Cabal Therapy

It’s slow, but maybe there’s a deck with a sufficiently high density of payoffs to make it work. Reminds me of Titania, Protector of Argoth. It risks being clunky, but the upside is that the right deck gains an overwhelming army of tokens as a reward for just living life. A 3cc enchantment isn’t super easy to remove, either.

I think part of why I can’t build a good Legacy deck is that I find it hard to say no to cards like this.

    Did Oghma make it?

This seems like a very powerful effect, getting around countermagic, plus most decks tend to board out Wastelands versus Reanimator. However, I am not sure it is worth the entering tapped and high mana cost to activate.

MIll and immediate reanimation also dodges some kinds of GY hate, but I think the mana cost is going to be too much for reanimator, even as sideboard tech. It takes a long time to get to 6 lands.

Yeah, I mean, there are Dark Rituals, but still it is probably too much.

I doubt either of them will find legacy play, but...

    Canoptek Scarab Swarm 4

    Artifact Creature — Insect

    Flying

Feeder Mandibles — When Canoptek Scarab Swarm enters the battlefield, exile target player’s graveyard. For each artifact or land card exiled this way, create a 1/1 colorless Insect artifact creature token with flying.
    1/1
Seems like it has potential in something dredge-like.

    Trazyn the Infinitea 4BB

    Legendary Artifact Creature — Necron

    Deathtouch

Prismatic Gallery — As long as Trazyn the Infinitea is on the battlefield, it has all activated abilities of all artifact cards in your graveyard.

The Archaeovist of the Solemnace Galleries will not rest until every treasure in the galaxy is safely within his clutches.
    4/6
Can do Necrotic Ooze style combos with, e.g. Phyrexian Devourer and Walking Ballista, but Ooze is going to be better a lot of the time, or it's just bad reanimator.

Being able to hide a combo piece on a land like that feels absurd, even with it coming in tapped.

It also combos with Brainstorm, in case anyone wanted to try UB

    I'm curious about:

    Atalan Jackal 1RG

    Creature — Human Tyranid Scout

    Trample, haste

Skilled Outrider — Whenever Atalan Jackal deals combat damage to a player, you may search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
    2/2
The fantasy is dropping it on turn 2 off Ignoble Hierarch and then generating incremental ramp plus value. On the other hand, the P/T is pretty low for a 3 cost creature by today's standards.

If you want to be extra cute/funny, it combos with Standstill too.

Scarab swarm seems mostly worse than Wurm Harvest, which is already only viable against the slowest of control shells.
