    ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

Hello everyone my name is Joel. My friend Rockout and I are planning on putting together a small testing group for GP Chicago. We are looking for 2 players in each of the DTB catagories and some additional decks in the established section and basicly do some late night cramming sessions so we can advance our knowladge of the format and our given decks.

We would like to offer an open invitation to advanced pilots. We will be setting up a small meeting soon to discuss times and dates for these cram sessions. Initially we do plan on contacting each other via Aim. Following that we will be using the mic program ventrilo to increase communication and hopefully take us each to the next level of play for this upcomming gp and following tournaments.

If you do have an interest in signing up for this excellent oppritunity please reply.

Thank you for your time and patience.

I would consider this as a threshold pilot. But the testing needs to be done with rules that provide for the best possible testing:

    10 games pre
    10 games post board

    alternating ever game

Attempt to play pre-board games as if not knowing what your playing against (I.e. Not keeping hands particularly good against a specific deck)

and If we can do this using skype or some other audio software as a way of making it go faster, I would be very interted.

While this is close it's still wrong. Every one knows it's an orgy of unicorns.
Team Unicorn is too hetero for me.

I could be the other threshold player and I could even play Team America as well.

We still need additional pilots. I am pending on about 10 requests but even at 16-18 im still alittle more greedy and would like to attain 2-3 more.

Re: ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

I could play either Aggro Loam, Mono Blue Control or Giftsstill. And maybe every other deck, but that are the decks I'm most familiar with. I could even play a combo deck, but I hate playing it via MWS.

I would be willing to play MUC, UW Landstill if you don't already have someone, and any Fish-esque builds you want to include.

Re: ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

So you want you testing gauntlet to be:

    Blue based Aggrocontrol
    - Thresh
    - Team America
    - Faerie Stompy

    Blue Based Control
    - ITF
    - 3c Landstill
    - 4c Landstill
    - Mono U contro
    - Dreadstill

    Other Control
    - Survival
    - Armageddon Stax

    Other Aggrocontrol
    - Aggro loam
    - Eva Green

    Combo
    - TES
    - Ichorid

Your "meta" is very blue oriented, you should add some aggro and combo to balance things up. Otherwise Ichorid will do too well and TES will do too bad.
    I suggest adding:
    - ANT
    - Goblins
    - Goyf Sligh
    - Dragon Stompy
    And one between:
    - Another gobbo splash
    - Another survival variant (Elves combo?)
    - The Rock

Re: ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

We are trying to get people that want to play those decks and have played those decks in tournament to run the gauntlet. I'm setting up some playtesting brackets as we speak. Since tomorrow is Christmas, I'm going to do my best to get the bracket finalized by Friday, at the latest.
To make things run smoothly, we are going to try 5 games, two pre-board and three post-board. I'd strongly suggest allowing free mulligans, but don't be a dick and try to sculpt the god hand to beat your opponent, unless of course, that's what your opponent asks for. I'm not going to tell any person which deck they will be facing to make the first game similar to sitting down at a tournament and meeting the person for the first time. We will use a ventrillo server to speed games along. Save your record and maybe some interesting insight into the match-up and send it to me and I will post all the information. I'm not asking for: shatter > dreadstill. If this works well, we can continue the gauntlet for the next few months and be as prepared as we can for the GP in March.

My name is Michael Misiaszek, and my e-mail address is MichaelMisiaszek@yahoo.com.

PS. Most metas are blue based anyway. It's not our intention.

if your still looking for people i would like to get in i would be willing to play Rock, goyf sligh, boros, deadguy, any thresh variant, TA, RGB survival, or U/w landstill. i'm open because i haven't decided what i want to play myself so it doesnt really matter what i test right now. I'm also familiar with those decks and have played all of them in tournament settings with solid results.

Re: ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

Seems like you got quite a few people that are willing to test with you Joel. That's always helpful and I know I wouldn't mind playing any type of aggro control deck like UGr Thresh and Team America. Of course I could also play decks like The Rock as well considering I playtested quite a bit back then with decks like Funkbrew and also have done well in a couple of tournaments with the deck.

out of the decks you mentioned these are the ones I mentioned I needed more of. Just because I said this is what we have "a mostly blue based control testing team" so far doesn't mean thats what I intend to put in place. If I had my way everyone would be playing belcher and i'd be playing the lone landstill list :).

Honestly this is what we need I think

    ichorid "led and no led"
    ant/ tes
    survival "GBwu/ G/R"
    goblins "mono R and RGB"

as well as other random decks from the established decks sections.

But keep in mind that out of the decks we are missing your still talking about 8 people we need, which will come very quickly but we still have some time until shortly after christmas.

Re: ATTENTION: MWS Testers/ advanced pilots

Ok so its christmas :). Merry christmas to all. It's been about 48 hours or so I believe since opening this thread and this is what we currently have. Tell me if there need to be any corrections.

    aggro loam:
    Playtesting/ He11 of a Hat
shades/ on thread didnt have an aim when I looked.

    Thresh:
    happy gillmore/ themirror
    dif/ SPOD Wolff

    TA:
    mister agent/ liufamily2

    fae stompy:
    eldariel

    ITF:
    Curtis/ working on his aim

    4c landstill:
    frenger/ stonecoldshnitzr

    3c landstill:
    rockout/ ChaChing632
    mossivo1986 "aim"

    ichorid:
    apriestofgix "aim"

    mono U control:
    kadaj/ IronicNihlist

    Eva Green:
    Dalkon Cledwin/ "aim"

We still need about 7-10 decks.

    1 ichorid
    2 dreadstill
    1 TA
    1 survival
    2 gobbos
    2 tes/ant
    1 merfolk

anyone have any others they think should go on here? Does goyf sligh really deserve a slot or two?

    Thoughts opinions sign ups!

My AIM is IronicNihlist, just for what it's worth. I'm more consistently available on MSN as well (EternalArcadia22@gmail.com), so if you have that, it'd be better to grab me there.
