VINTAGE--ICBM Xtreme Open--FULL POWER NINE BOTH DAYS--Chicago, IL

Well, it's finally time. Here it is, the ICBM Xtreme Open. If you've ever met me, traded with me, bought from me, sold to me, flamed me, been flamed by me, or just plain hated me for whatever reason, you are obligated to show up.

    When:
    July 18-19
    Registration opens at 9 AM
Round 1 begins at 10:30 AM
two weeks before Steel City, 4 weeks before Gencon

    Where:
    Xtreme Games' BRAND NEW STORE
    2108 Grand Ave
    Lindenhurst, IL 60046
    1-224-372-7560
    it's right outside of Chicago

    What:
    ICBM Xtreme Open
    $30 entry
    10 proxies +$1 per proxy over 10
Unsanctioned Vintage, swiss, cut to top 8
    multiple DCI judges, I promise
    probable side events

    100% GUARANTEED Prize support:
    Day 1 AND Day 2:
    1st place: Unlimited Black Lotus
    2nd place: Unlimited Ancestral Recall
    3rd place: Unlimited Mox Sapphire
    4th place: Unlimited Time Walk
    5th place: Unlimited Mox Jet
    6th place: Unlimited Mox Ruby
    7th place: Unlimited Mox Emerald
    8th place: Unlimited Mox Pearl
    9th place: Unlimited Timetwister

That's right, 18 pieces of power over 2 days. Remember when we had those tournaments every month? Those were good times.

    1-round byes:
whoever wins ICBM Open #9, which WILL be before this tourney, I swear
Tommy Kolowith (winner of ICBM Open #8)
Dan Carp (winner of ICBM Open #7, though he's in Marine boot camp and most likely will be unable to attend)
James King (winner of ICBM Open #6)
all past Vintage World Champions (you know who you are)
    Soly's mom

I'd post a pic of the power, but I still need like 3 pieces, so instead here's a pic of a Broodstar. If you have power you're looking to get rid of, contact me.

Does look awesome, it is the same weekend as the release events for M10. I'm sure that doesn't matter for most people, but it probably means I will be stuck working and can't go.

Yup I know it, I had trouble scheduling my Legacy tournaments for the summer as well. I went with the same day as nationals on purpose lol.

A little under three weeks left. This should be a kick-ass time. All you Legacy folks can seriously just port your decks over; it's not that hard. Remember, it's VINTAGE--it takes no skill.

I know what you mean. I usually play oath and most of my games go: t1: land, mox, oath go. t2: win.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. It's not as easy as one might think to kill someone on the first turn, especially if that person is inexperienced.

I'll be showing up both days. I'll be quite easy to spot as I'll be wearing vertical black and white stripes.

Hey, are collectors edition cards able to be used for proxies/real cards?
