Not as good as expected :(

Just 2 question, if I can

    1) Why not in the weekend 4-5 June, when D-A-CH-FR-IT are on full holidays ?
    2) Why Vintage cards to the Legacy tourney?

Enjoy, and spread the word that I didn't meant for this to be simply "cool", but rather prove that choosing the right card means using the card that best fulfills its purpose, not the card that is accepted as "strongest"/"best"...

    Re: BoM.5 Bazaar of Moxen: 13 to 15 May 2011, 45 pieces of P9, 100 duals, 7 Black lot

    Some explain ;) :

    1) The prob with 4 & 5 june: it's the french bachelor's starting... and the place of lot tournaments for Wizard official French cup and multiple PTQ :(. And, in last we had a prob with our usual places at this date :(
    2) We think prizes valour is over Type play... and in second we can garantise this prizes. ( for example:very hard to find mass quantity of dual actually).

And, like for other BoM, you can expect some secret extra gift... info soon ;).

You realize France is not a state in America right? It is a country in a distant land once known as Christendom, but the non-Americans of the world know it as Europe (the Americans are unaware of its existence). To get to this fabled land you must take a plane. For over 10 hours. For more than 1,000 dollars.

There are lots of hotels in Annecy, some of them very near to the tournament venue. Google will help you find them. I'm coming from Finland with two of my friends :)

Coming over from Belgium with two friends. I'll be wearing a blue polo with "MCG" and some tribal logo on the back and sponsorship from Outpost on the front. We're staying at Hotel Balladins and I'm looking forward to meeting some other sourcers on site.

    This is gonna be sick.

I knew you guys would be there :)
We already booked our hotel and will be there with 4 guys. This is gonna be a tough one, with four people in my tiny car, driving about 10 hours... anyway, last year was a great trip and I´m really looking forward to it!

Where are you all staying? I just booked a flight for Geneve (and a coach from there) but I'm still unsure about the hotel... anything with an awesomely cheap price?

We too booked flights to Geneve (and bus or train from there on). We are also staying in the Balladins hotel that was already mentioned... it's quite cheap and very near to the site. It's going to be great trip!

    Re: BoM.5 Bazaar of Moxen: 13 to 15 May 2011, 45 pieces of P9, 100 duals, 7 Black lot

So, given the sheer hotness which this event will surely encompass and the fact that it's only a mere month away, I'm surprised how quiet this thread has become.

    Anyway.

We have a 4th teammember coming along, but because I had already arranged for our accomodation I had to pull some shenanigans.
    To the point:
    - We have a room with 3 beds from thursday 12 'till monday 16th at the Balladins (150m from the event site)
    - We have a 2nd room at the Balladins, also with 3 beds, but of which only one bed will be taken. In other words: we have 2 spare beds, which can be made available for a minimal addtional cost. There is a catch though ; the room wasn't free on saturdaynight (May 14th), so for that one night I booked a 1-person room in another (slightly more expensive) hotel, called Kyriad. I'm pretty sure that second reservation can be extended to accomadate for more people.

    So, I'm offering:
    - 2 beds at the Balladins hotel for thursday 12th, friday 13th and sunday 15th of May;
    - If need be, I can modify our reservation at the Kyriad to accomodate for more people. Or you can just make arrangements yourself for that one night, if you want.

    Money talk
    - The room at the Balladins currently costs 42euro per night, so that means (3 nights) 126 euro total, excl. breakfast. If more people get involved, I suspect this will go up to 52 euro per night (meaning 156 euro). This amount we be split among the people staying in the room. Breakfast is 6.50 euro/day, if you want that.
    - The room I currently have booked at the Kyriad is 79 euros (excl. breakfast, which would cost € 9). I'm not sure what a 2- or 3-person room would cost, but of course you'll be able to split that as well.

If anyone is still looking for accomdation for BoM and wants to jump in on this, send me a pm and we can work something out.

Hope to see some of you in Annecy (especially DerFern & his homies)!

    Tom

Around 500 people pre-registered - nice turnout it looks like!
