Tough times are causing me to bite the bullet and sell off my baby :(

It's been real guys, take care.
Very pretty - sorry to see you have to dump it!
I hope you get asking price, if it is that bad...
"eggs... why'd it have to be eggs"
Amazing deck you got there. Good luck getting your price.
Sorry to hear you need to sell something you enjoy.
That being said a deck with only 4 non-foil cards seems marked as all hell.
You can feel the difference between foil and non-foil cards. And because your only non-foils are 4 LED's, that can be pretty suspicious.
One can always bend the non-foils in the same way as the other cards in the deck, so that they won't be recognisable. So it's not an issue.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted...
+300. There is a technique to uncurl curled foils without damaging the card. I find it absurd to hear that you can only play all-foils or none-at-all. This myth has already been busted. As long as you're not trying to pull off a Bertoncheaty on someone playing with 5 or 55 foils in a deck should not be an issue.
at OP, goodluck with the sale.
When I used to play LED Dredge, my deck was completely foiled out - with the obvious four LEDs not foil. I went to the head judge at a SCG Open and had him evaluate the deck and he said it was fine after checking it.
It's really not that big of a deal. Just make sure you check with the HJ before a big event to be safe.
Yes, the official rule is just that you can't distinguish cards from the rest of the deck. Having a bunch of foils or nonfoils doesn't necessarily make the deck marked (although it does increase the odds if you don't do it properly).
Double sleeving or just making sure to unbend your foils are all ways you can have a high density of either without having this problem.
Also, as Hollywood suggested above, if you're really worried, have the HJ check it out before the tournament starts to make sure.
Following this to see how much my foiled out dredge is worth.
I don't even want know to know how much my foil thresh is.
Is the tough times the printing of rest in peace? Are you Bad Luck Brian?

I played in a GP where the only foils in my deck were 4 promo restoration angels. Before the tournament I asked the head judge to check if my deck was legal. He said something like "yes, for now. but if the foil warps later and becomes recognizable it might not be". He then told me to check the foils every now and then during the tournament.
So, check foils not only at the start of the tournament but keep checking for the entire duration of the event.
If your deck is double sleeved (why isn't it?) in something like Dragon Shields or Legions, there's really no way to tell at all. I've never been called out on it, nor have I noticed the bend in the sleeves.
And no, it's not because of RiP haha, it's more a matter of an immediate need for money. (Bills are a thing)
Semi-related note: 15 minutes to go and still sitting at 1k. Ugh.
Why are these threads allowed to exist? If author would of wanted to brag about his pimped out dredge he could of done it in the Pimp thread..
Can we open threads with ebay content just like that.. for no shameless marketing rasons?
Or am I missing something here![]()
I kind of agree with you, except:
1) Jordan is actually getting out of magic and it feels reasonable to "say goodbye" to a community he really loves--even if he doesn't have thousands of posts or whatever. He always played with his "The Source" playmat, he has a lot of good feelings towards this website.
2) Jordan actually is/was in pretty serious need of the money (I mean, he's selling his deck)--and even if it's a little questionable to make what basically amounts to an ebay/sales thread, given his circumstances I don't really see the harm in giving him a tiny bit of additional exposure in a niche market. The obvious counter argument here is "but what if everybody did this blah blah blah" to which I would say: if they're getting out of magic and are a serious legacy player then I don't really care.
Although I know the OP personally and am friends with him, my initial reaction was similar to yours. But ultimately I think the obvious answer (the one you missed) is: "Who cares? It's not a big deal."
