Got some new AQ cards this week. One can never have too many signed/altered old cards

To me, some degree of pimpness comes from the overall aesthetic of the deck. I'll include card art in that consideration, not just frame. So, in a foiled out deck I would go with prerelease Emrakul. This is true for a couple other cards, such as the graveborn Cabal Therapy.

Yeah the original art on Cabal Therapy is tight. Sometimes Ron Spencer gets a little out of hand with muscle fiber, veins and feux penises but that painting is spot on ...

I just finished my set foil playset a couple weeks ago. I love foils (obviously by my sig.) and I don't care for foreign too much, though I do love the Cyrillic language...

Well in honor of DnT getting two into the T8 of the GP (and winning!), figured I should post my DnT deck even though its not 100% complete. My camera sucks, so quality isn't great, but gives an idea.

The theme is Cyrillic foils, old S Chinese foils (some of my favorite looking cards) and then English foils.

The deck took two+ years to complete and the joy was really tracking everything down. So onto the deck:

First off we have Thalia which took the deck to the next level and then the always great Needle off a vial:



Flickerwisp was the hardest card to find for the deck. Took me almost two years to find even one (then I got lucky and found a few more as we will see later :)).



Mom and SFM:



Mirran Crusader is really good right now, has generally replaced Serra Avenger in most builds.

Not a fan of Judge Karakas, but if your rule is foil then I guess that art has to do... Those Vials are sick. Also Russian Foil Revokers make me happy

You sir have won the thread. 7 foil russian foil flickerwisps? Color me amazed, you must have 25% of the total number of foil russian flickerwisps in existence or something because russian foil eventide cards are ridiculously scarce. Not to mention uncommons and commons, since people think that said cards are worth nothing. Either way, well done sir on tracking down all these obscure cards. It is probably the most beautiful mono white deck in existence.
