This years Ovino was great fun! I Top32ed Legacy and even managed to Top32 my first ever Modernevent too :D

This was what I played, I just can't be asked to type my lists so it's just the photos:

Was a pleasure meeting you all and can't wait for next year!

Congrats on the all russian finals, though :D

    1 Bug Cascade
    1 High Tide

The two russian guys that came together eventually led to the finals, I don't know if they split but I think so, they seemed to be friends. I played against Ilya on round 8 (if you read this I was your Miracle opponent) and he was definitely a good player. Anyways, it was curious to see how in the end big touraments can be won by decks considered dead or falling stars, like Maverick and Death and Taxes. Legacy is still beautiful in this.

Here's the interview with the finalists:

It was Ilya's Maverick and Vladimir's UR-YoungDelver, the interview says it all. I am glad to know them and play constantly with these guys, they definitely deserved that victory.

And I would say that if big tournaments are periodically won by very different decks and archetypes than it can only mean that Legacy is indeed healthy and various format which is great news! Be cool and play Legacy!

Still waiting for "This year we’ll have a complete Video coverage, for the most important Feature Match and for the 3 days of tournament."

So far, the "coverage" was a joke.

Thank you! Against you it was the most difficult round for me before t8. I really enjoyed playing with you, you showed good skill with miracles.
Of corse we split the prizes with Vladimir in the finals, as we are good friends.
The organizers recorded most of the t8 games and some rounds in swiss as well. But they said they want to add comments to the videos, so it may take some time. From the beginning they decided not to stream, but to download videos after the tourny.

To be fair, it normally only takes about 5 seconds to type "Jund" eight times.
