I picked up Grundlagenforschung (Back to Basics), foil Rechtsstaatlichkeit (Rule of Law) and Gerechtigkeit des Schicksals (Karmic Justice) for Enchantress, which is nothing crazy, but I'm wondering which German card in somebody's deck has the best and longest name. I feel like I've seen some amazing ones that I can't remember.

I picked up some stuff like these two recently. I guess Revised miscut cards are really common, but do you know how much do these cards worth?

The swamp is NFC, I'm fairly sure. So the value is pretty low. The other I'm not sure of though...

Thank you very much! NFC seems worthless at all...I also saw a miscut tundra on ebay similar as these two, maybe it is also NFC....

I don't het two things:
- what is NFC
- and why the Russian cards to use the "Planeswalker" type.

If there's no way how to translate the word, they could have azbukaed it. Like Шекспир, Рузвельт or Дрейк.

Anyone who has been to Korea knows that there is only a very small mtg community there (supported by foreigners living in Korea). Part of the reason for this is that the non-card gaming scene is enormous. Partially it's also because there is a stigma towards card gaming because some parents see it as similar to gambling. Korean cards are printed as much for collectors outside Korea as Korean players.

What do you say about estimating numbers of cards - it's very difficult. How many copies of foil Russian Linvala exist for example. 20? 100? Who can say. As far as I know the one that was on ebay for about $2000 for months didn't sell. There are foil sets of Russian Rise of the Eldrazi given as redemption so you can get Linvala out of those but there is no question it is a rare card. The cards from all these early sets printed in the Russian language are very scarce.

My point is that Kharns is different and I think we will see drops on values of these cards in 2015. I've had no problem getting dig, treasure cruise, rhino and I've seen lots of fetches on ebay. For me Japanese foil onslaught fetches are pimp and I think in the longer term these cards will be rarer than Russian. So the question is how many foil Japanese polluted deltas from Onslaught are there compared with Kharns (remember there are still lots of Kharns packs to be opened).

There is another important point for collectors and that is that the onslaught printing is the FIRST printing of fetches. Right now it doesn't matter as much but in the future when onslaught fetches have been reprinted 3 or 4 times (it will happen) the original printing will be very important to collectors.

A final point of how many of a certain card there is existing - there are always more cards than you think there are. Many collectors don't participate on forums like this and don't play the game - you will never see their sets of summer or playsets of foil Russian Emrakul.

There is a few schoolchildren playing in Russia, mostly students and adults, boosters are 6$, draft 24$

2000$ is bad price, i saw one for a 1.5 year ago for 650$. But you see, cant tell about linvala, no one needed it, only angels collectors. But then it becomes popular, later. It is as hard to find it as hell's caretaker. Suppose less then 30 linvala's existing. Also what is redemption?

Ye but here people knows what who has. Opening top foil mythic is news for regional town. You can ask people how many emrakuls did they sold abroad (remember times there was lots of foil emrakuls for 15$). Obv you are right, i know 6 foil progenitus, but there have to be more

Whatever ... I played in the SCG open this weekend and brought Hillbilly Jund and Internet Death and Taxes to lend out. I also picked up some new stuff.

I have this basically perfect for my pimping preferences, somethings need signing but it's all german if it can't be russian or old bordered korean and beta if it can be beta. Snow covered german gold ink signed basics because your opponent will just wonder.

I got dig for $75. I highly rate dig and wanted a copy for miracles. I haven't bought any treasure cruises yet because I'm confidant that I'll be able to get copies in the new year when people are poor after Xmas spending (I'll buy Japanese ones).

How much rare/value is a Show and Tell signed? i have the opportunity to let Jeff Laubenstein sign my 4x ENG Show and Tell. Personally i don't like signed cards, so i would do it just for increased value. Is that a good thing to do or the increased value (if there is at all) is not enough to matter? personally i would never buy a signed card so i can lose future buyers too this way.

If you don't like signed cards and you plan to play them for a long time, don't sign them. In any other case I would try to get them signed, in my opinion Jeff Laubenstein's signature adds value to the card, and is not ugly at all (so I don't think many people would stop buying it just for the signature).

Signatures add value, those who say signed cards are worth less are morons. Jeff's signature is more rare than something like Rob Alexander, even better.
