9/19 Legacy for a Lotus! http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...cy-for-a-Lotus!
Last Thursday had 8 people.
Still paid out to top 4.
Finals was Nick Romano (merfolk) vs. Al Nota (GR).
Nick won.
Hoping for bigger turnout this week.
If you're looking to prep for my August 8th tourney then these smaller events are the perfect place to try out your deck.
Hopefully some more people visit me this Thursday. I get lonely sometimes :p

Nick Romano won again last week with UW merfolk.
Will today be 3 victories in a row?![]()

had 8 people this past Thursday.
Aaron Greenspan pillaged and plundered with RGW burnish zoo.
Will zoo once again take over my mox tourney this Saturday?
We shall see![]()

These events are very fun and deffinitly make for great testing. I encorage all players to come as you will certainly have a good time.
Controling the board since saga.
we've had sanctioned legacy every thursday since I took the store over.
I'm hoping that will continue.
We're hovering around 8-10 lately. I'd like to get that number higher.
See you soon.

I was wrong for requesting a particular price structure prior to the legacy event. That was unfair. It would be ridicules if each contestant demanded specific cards as prices. Sorry Dave for putting you on the spot.
er, no prob Rod =D
If we had a tournament last week, I would've seen what I could do for putting a Port in there.
Unfortunately I had 30 people in my store on Thursday night, yet I couldn't get 8 for sanctioned legacy.
This goes back to Eli's (morphling420) question as to why I would hold a FTV: exiled tourney as standard instead of legacy.
There's much more support for standard in my store than legacy.
I am trying to get people to try out older formats, but many just want to stick to the cheaper forms like Draft/Type 2.
Last week was the first time I did not have sanctioned legacy since taking the store over. This made me sad![]()
I will be bumping the start time to 6:00 start for Legacy and opening at 3 on Thursdays starting in September.
This Thursday will be the last time I open at 4:00 and starting the tourney at 7:00.
DHG Fall Hours (as of September 1st):
Monday: 3-11
Tuesday: Closed
Wed: 2-11
Thursday 3-11
Friday: 2-Midnight
Saturday: 12-8
Sunday: Closed (Go Pats! :p)
Hopefully the earlier hours will get some people looking to play Legacy down.
Turnout for the bigger legacy tournaments has been good, just trying to get the same support for the smaller weekly's.
Thanks again.

Haven't had weekly legacy for the past 2 Thursdays despite the store being full.
Drafting has taken over my store lately. I'm one of the few locations with constant supply of m10 at normal pricing (and draft set discount! :p).
Hoping people will warm up to the new earlier starting time of 6:00 starting this Thursday.
See you guys later and thanks again.

Starting tonight all weekly legacy will be store credit given as prize for the weekly legacy.
If I get 8 people I will give out $50 credit split among top 4.
Hopefully can get weekly legacy started again.
Thanks =D

Coming down.
TPDMC
and come down you did.
We were short the 8 people to make it sanctioned, but the 6 who played were a fierce bunch:
Ben Nash (From Cairo) /w Goblins
Eli Hannon (Morphling420) /w Tendrils combo
Brass Man (AndyProbasco) /w counter/top/goyf
Rod Cordoba /w Goblins (Rod of Ruin)
Dana Renfew /w Mono Red Burn (The Deadman)
and the 6th person who played so we could have a tournament...
Dave Feinstein! (me :p) /w Z00
We did 3 rounds of swiss cut to top 2. $30 store credit was given out. Technically only $25 taken in, but I counted myself as an entry just to bump the prize pool up a little ;)
There ended up being four people at 2-1, including myself...
but only two players could make top 2
Brassman and myself...
were both on the outside looking in :p
Tiebreakers shone through for Ben and Rod, as Goblins split the finals.
Ben used his credit with a little cash to grab two Arid Mesas, and Rod used it for Misty Rainforest.
I believe everyone had a fun time despite the small turnout. My hope is we get 8 people next week for it to be sanctioned.
I will be away at PT Austin next week, but I believe with the new prize structure for Legacy being completely in store credit we'll have a good turnout.
Thanks to those who showed. Hopefully we can have legacy again weekly.
I also greatly look forward to holding my Bunch More Duals tourney on the 24th http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=15131
Thanks as always

I'm hoping to make this tonight with a few others.
how's the turnout for these been?
We had a couple little ones go off, but we haven't had 8 for sanctioned lately.
Trying to get these back again as consistent weekly 8+ person tournaments.
I would encourage people to come, because the interest seems to be growing again, especially with the big one looming.
If the tourney does not go off there's still plenty to do, as we usually get 10-20 on a Thursday. The trick is just trying to get them to play legacy :p
Thanks for the interest.
