I played Burn for a long time before finally making the switch to Threshold. That's why my list still looks a bit like Burn.

Rd 1 vs. Enrique with Every-color-but-red-Landstill
I lost hard to an early Counterbalance game 1. I lost slowly to it in game 2. Counterbalance is for guys who can't get it up. Seriously they are trying to make up for their shortcomings.

Rd 2 vs. The Hedgehog with Straight Burn
This was glittering with coolness. I rocked him with my burn deck on steroids. I did not even sideboard. Outgunned, Enrique went down in two straight games and dropped.

Rd 3 vs. Hot-as-hell Karl with Ubw Fish
Karl's deck was ill-prepared for my panda style. He was also not ready for mucho spot removal. Wizards, Avengers, and such all went poof as Tarmos and Dragons hurt him every turn.

Rd 4 vs. Lucas with Dreadnought-Trinket combo
Before the tournament I was talking with Lucas who foolishly told me "Keep the Trinket Mages, Stifles and charms from happening and this deck does very little." If you are reading this: "Thanks, Luke." Your deck did very little.

Rd 5 vs. Vanessa's boyfriend who's-name-I-forgot with Fetchland Tendrils
I understand that this deck is supposed to kill with a lethal Tendrils. But it does not like Red Blasts or Tormod's Crypts. So it didn't.

Rd 6 vs. Ken with Hogwarts
Ken wanted to draw into top 8. He claimed that it was in my best interest to do so since we would both be in. But I came to play so I declined. His wizard deck had cool effects like vialing in Patron Wizard in response to a spell. But it did not really have a way to deal damage. He died to a long stream of burn and his own fetchlands in three games. He did not make top 8.

Top 8 vs. CleverPetriDish with Death and Taxes
I spent the majority of all three games looking at my 1/1 Mongeese and unimpressive Tarmos. Mangara came out a total of once and I quickly dispatched him. But it didn't matter. I hate that deck so much. It sucks moose dong and yet I can't beat it.

So I took 6th. I am fine with that.

I hate that deck so much. It sucks moose dong and yet I can't beat it.

I get that all the time when I play that deck. I played Elias after you and he was furious to see Samurai of the Pale Curtain in game one. He already had two Bridges in the graveyard and could not use them. He mumbled alot of cool things at me. I never even knew "jankass" was a word.
