I may have made some errors because I'm tired and will fix them tomorrow as well as post the Top 8 match reports on the Game Empire magic forums and add the link to there.
Props:
A great crowd that kept the environment friendly and fun.
Shawna for conceding to me Round 3 after admitting luck would be her only out.
"Probe with kicker targeting you" for being amazing in a field of very little card advantage AND fun to say.
Slops:
Watching two other decks in the top 8 that probably should have won
lose 1st round in 3 games. (tog looses to combo / Infi-removal with mainboard extirpates looses to reanimator with 9 targetable fatties)
Going 4-0 then IDing twice only to lose 1st round in the Top 8 to amazing draws on my opponent's part, multiple big errors on my opponent's part, and "bad luck" / "statiscial improbablilities occuring" on my part. Playing against stax that runs 6 creature cards and saw at least 1 angel very early every game. I lost to 2x Angels game 2. Game 3 I saw Turn 1 City of Traitors, mox, morph followed by turn 2 crucible after I Verdicted a plains and ancient tomb out of his hand. Only saw 1 smokestack the entire match game 2 when I was already dead.

Cool. Well done to all.
Is it time for Countersliver to join the DTBF as an ATW? Three top 8 finishes since September 22:
EDIT: Never mind. Looking at the Historical top 8 threads, it looks like there were 10 qualifying events in November alone (big month!), so anything from before November isn't going to count.

kevin correction... theres 10 creatures to get extirpated. hahaha and extirpate is so easy to play around. hahaha. thats a very good matchup for me, i dont think ive ever lost to it. If necessary the imps and faeries could always beat for the win! its was a good night. ill enjoy the goyfs. i called it in the other thread huh? i only wish my name was in that dudes list of people that will probably take the tourney... well... thats 2 for 2 for me ait it. hahahaha.
great times, great people, great store.
thanks all for coming, hopefully it wont be too long for the next.
( oh... nd for all those people that might think it was luck... remember this: simple decks win games. remember that.)
Id like to milk that oreo... split it in half...and lick all that sweet sweet candy off. mmmmm... oreos....
Wow, I didn't know people still used the transformational sideboard in Bg SI. Duress over Therapy is kinda interesting too. No Ill-Gotten Gains as a 1-of or two-of? I guess it worked :). Congrats.
Also, I don't believe SI should lose to that GAT list. SI only cares about Force of Will, Stifle, and Daze turn 1. GAT has 1 of those. Seems like SI just runs by it.
BZK! - Storm Boards
Been there, tried that, still casting Doomsday.
Drawing my deck for 0 mana since 2013.

I can't wait for the next one... I went and did pretty awefully through with bad draws and all... oh, well.
I will never play threshold again! What a terrible deck... lol
Can someone provide date and location for this tournament? I would like to use it to update Historical T8 thread.
Cty, State
Month Day, Year
Thank you,
I am intrigued that Reanimator is still viable now that Animate Dead no longer works on Akroma et al (aka they fixed the ruling) Obviously there are plenty of other reanimation cards in the deck, but I am glad to see that this archetype is still playable.
