That's kind of an absurd comparison. Entreat produces 20 power worth of evasive threats at instant speed for the same cost as cycling Decree for 4 1/1s. You can Miracle Entreat EOT to steal a game in which you're significantly behind in cards and on board without ever representing that you're setting up a one card combo kill, whereas setting up a kill through either of Decree's modes is only feasible if you've already won anyway.
Next update is in a week.
The only Amonkhet Invocation that's not legal in Legacy is Mind Twist.
Mind Twist is getting unbanned.
Debate me. Pro tip: You can't.

I don't know if im posting in the right section with this but I can't seem a thread that fits better with my remark when it comes to the Reserve list.
Ive seen multiple threads here that discuss the reserve list, plenty of people show support in abolishing the list in favour of a potential increase in players playing Legacy.
Now ive been reading those discussions, most people seem to agree that even though we discuss it, they don't see WoTC ever disbanding the list out of fear for repercussions from collectors.
So that got me thinking, what is the thing that people really want from the reserve list. Which boils down for a large part to the True duals. Other cards on the list are less being advocated, you see the occasional: Unban SotF or the goblin dude, but aside that people just want the lands to be available for new players.
Since Battle for Zendikar WoTC actually opened a way to [imo] solve this issue themselves relatively easy.
Why are they not printing true duals like:
Plateau #2:
Tap to add red, white or colorless.
Simply make the current duals better, adding colorless to the land would only make a minor impact on the current Legacy decks. Maybe Eldrazi or Thalia Stomphy profits from these lands, but aside that I don't see other decks that gain much of an advantage from the lands.
Is there any chance that someone at Wizards would come up with this idea and be bold enough to propose it for a Eternal Masters set?
Everything can be denied using the concept of the "spirit" of the reserve list. If they don't like it, it's against the spirit of the reserve list and therefore can't be printed.
