    [card discussion] Veilstone amulet

    Veilstone Amulet

    Casting Cost 3
    Type Artifact
Text Whenever you play a spell, creatures you control can't be the targets of spells or abilities your opponents control this turn.

Could this find a home in agro-control builds? I think it might like to be in suicide black. Disruption makes you creatures untargetable? Nice. Maybe red death that bolts stuff in response to damage on the negator would be nice. Maybe in thresh to make up for the loss of the geese in a few specific builds? Maybe with bigger threshold creatures? This looks like it might find a home here, just maybe if someone put some time into it...

If it's all in our heads, it's best that we don't loose them.

Way too marginal and too slow to be played in any format, let alone Legacy.

Control might be able to use it, and sui black can ritual it out.

No, it could most certainly hurt. Wasting time hurts.

Fine, I'll do it then. Well see if it's that bad. At worst it's going into stompy build with some moxen.

    Wow, Radley pwnage.

And now, just to make sure the thread dies, RANDOM FUNNAY INTERWEB IMAGES FOR NO RAISIN!!!eleven

PS: Seriously, Whispersilk Cloak. Or Dense Foliage. Anything, really. You might think 2 each time you want to equip the cloak is a lot, but playing a spell is going to be harder. Of course, neither's really viable.

I don't know. Maybe some bad stax decks featuring Karn, or maybe just as some random un-nessacery fun thing in a Gro build.

But realy, its just not good enough to get used very often.

In stax you don't have any instant. The goal of the card is to play instant in response to the targettings of the opponent.

In a gro build, you don't want to wait to have 3 mana before playing your creatures and an artifact doesn't make the dryad grows.
