I still run the REB, there quite good answers against Meddling Mage and Stifle. I still like the more than allthough it does more or less the same thing.

I'm thinking of adding them back in as well...
What about the New card G/W
for the 2/2 Can't play spell over 3cc?
What about him? You Burning Wish for an answer, just as you do with Meddling Mage before firing off with Tendrils/EtW.
The Source: Your Source for "The Source: Your Source for..." cliche.
With this guy legal in the format, how can combo hope to stay afloat... perhapes you guys will have to simply find ways to race this one out... seeing as REBs don't kill it, and cave in no longer works.
BZK! - Storm Boards
Been there, tried that, still casting Doomsday.
Drawing my deck for 0 mana since 2013.
Or good old pyroclasm. He isn't the end of combo.
um, lol? It means you run pyroclasm instead of cave-in/earthquake in the board as a wish answer? It's still a 2/2 that doesn't have a relevant ability against alot of decks, just like Meddling Mage, which means it will be heavily experimented with and then end up in the SB of a select few decks, and maybe the main of one.
Actually it is an answer to a lot of decks. Basically ALL storm combo that wishes to win via Tendrils or EtW. It will be run in Thresh to slow us down so all they have to counter is Chants and Wish, and can let EVERYTHING else through.
Pyroclasm? Are there any better answers to this besides that?
well, I know Iggy pop runs bounce maindeck via wipe away...s
Seriously though, this guy will probably see way less play than Mage in blue based decks because this guy is more narrow. After all, if thresh plays him, they are disabling their own Force of Will. This doesn't seem like it will be a very appealing factor for thresh players. He is good against combo but I think Mage is better.
Yeah. I doubt this guy will do us much harm. I will gladly play against this because it hurts there forces. I think it is better if people play this guy. Just play Chant with Gaddok in play. This means they can only daze the chant. Pretty simple to play around. Then you can go off with ease. I think it is great if I see him.

I forgot about this. The effect is two sided.
Yes he is going to see little play. Maybe in Terregeddon, but seriously was that ever a problem match up? It just makes a 65-35 Match up into a 60-40 post Board.
How do you plan to do this? So you Chant and then you have the choice of going off without using IGG, Diminishing returns, Tendrils and Etw (19 storm via Wish->Wish->Wish etc.+Grapeshot?) or you need to have a hand that has 5 spare mana (one white) and a Burning wish and can also go off. I can tell you both situations don't occur regularly when you are on a normal clock.
I am not sure it will be played although i guess it will be in some SB's, but what is that reply about? I didn't say anything about it being played or not or being good (which is a different thing).
I'm betting it will see a fair amount of play, even if not in top decks (read: Thresh and friends). All of those people who liked to play aggro and couldn't because of the auto-loss to combo? They'll pack this guy and play aggro again.
