Add prizes for 5-8th and I'm in too. It'll be a nice way to have fun (and get my ass handed to me) before heading off to grad school.

i am rethinking the top 8 prizes i may just be able to re-arrange them as suggested such that all of top 8 walks away with something. thank you for the suggested break down.

It's stickied right above this thread.

I don't htink any of us won't be back from the tournement for the following weekend. You'd have to delay it at least two weeks for us to be able to attend. And we'd be traveling the two weekends before that as well.

So basically there can be no Legacy events other than the Washington tourney in the month of June because you want to spend an entire month on the road?

I don't know what you guys do, but how the hell can you afford three weeks of travel?

Anyway, I'll try to be there whenever it is. I also think prizes for 5-8 should be given. Hopefully this is a good turnout.

Plus, engineered explosives has sunburst.

Also, you should really be running a playset of engineered plagues against merfolks. They can dismantle tribal decks so run more of them.

I never said they couldn't hold a tournement then if they wanted to, I was just informing them if they wanted the best turnout they might want to consider moving it.

They're gonna lose out on 4 from Syracuse, and maybe 5 from VA. It's not really all that big a deal, even if they run it the same day.

I won't be driving a car from rochester so they will probably miss out on that too.

That's my point, if they work it seems like three weeks is a lot of time to take off.

Sorry if my last post sounded dickish, I was extremely tired and working on a paper when I posted, so I wasn't in a very good mood.

Rob, if you could post when preregistration ends for this that would be helpful, it sucked last time when it ended 2 days before the event and there was nothing mentioned about that on your website, especially when the event still looked available to buy.

I'd say that they'd be losing at least a dozen people. That's like a third to a fourth of average attendance to a torunament.

    Unfortunate timing, really.

how well does 6/21 look to everyone? As of right now I'm looking at keeping on this weekend, but if there is a large interest in moving to the previous weekend I might.

Because people are roadtripping to Washington, I doubt moving it one weekend is going to increase attendance any. Might help the Syracusers, I guess.

The weekend of 6/21 is the same as Grand Prix Indi, I would not hold it that weekend.

I doubt to many would go to washington for a DLD where top prize is only 4 dual lands, but they could be crazy.

They're going across country on a vacation. And on the way happens to be a dual land draft...

There are a bunch of us going to GP Indy that weekend, you might want to move it like 7/12/2008, its the weekend after the 4th and I don't see anything else going on...this would prob. get you the best turn out...
