I'll guess TES since Bryant was there and he rarely scrubs.

Yeah, but Brandon said that there was at least one FT player there as well, but I don't know him, so I can't vouch for his playskill.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't feel like it. I shouldn't have to work for my updates. I expect, out of the 40+ people attending event, that one of those cocksuckers has access to the internet. I call bullshit on this update delay.

Seriously. You think we could at least get a top 8 out of them.

As one who scrubbed early, I can't add much than to say that the total number of players was 50.

There was no internet at the site, and no one apparently cared enough to call for updates.

    50 players, six rounds.

    Eric Copenhaver [Bovinious] - Dredge
Jesse Hatfield [Mad Zur] - 5 color thresh
Jim Peyton [JRP] - Fetchland Tendrils
Alix Hatfield [ObFreely] - 5 color thresh
    Kevin Keyhoe [?] - RGBSA
Matt Elgin [SpatulaOfTheAges] - Saucy Solitare
    Dave Gearhart [deep6er] - It's The Fear
Kenny Meyer [darkmindtone] - Aggro Loam

    Code:
    Eric
    Jesse Eric
    Jim Alix
    Alix Eric
    Kevin Matt
    Matt Matt
    Dave Kenny
    Kenny
Eric and Matt split in the finals.

“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.

Wow. Boni comes through on the shit talk. Never thought I'd see that happen.

Also, a note to the next person to top8 with Fetchland Tendrils/Grim Igg: MAKE AT LEAST TOP 4. Thank you.

But seriously, congrats to all, some interesting looking decks in there.

Wonderful. The update took so long I don't even care anymore, mostly because I'm preoccupied by this. It doesn't help with the fact that Ichorid top2'd, but I'm rather interested in seeing these 5c Thresh lists.

I don't follow Nought decks, but none had Standstill.

Thanks? But yeah, I toally owned this tournament, despite me pretty much trying to punt at least 4 games that my opponents and/or my luck wouldnt let me lose, must be nice. Ill write a tourney report in the next few days, should be lulz.

You're one of the CounterTop Control decks. Just like me.

On that note, I was playing 'Tog. Kind of. Expect a tournament report soon.

Definitely a great time. Also, I'm totally alive again. The NEXT win will bring the arrogance. Oh, and I should probably go change my title now. Bonus points to anyone who got the reference.
For the foreseeable future, expect to see less of me. I've lost my internet connection, and so I'll only be able to get on by siphoning free Wi-Fi from the surrounding areas. Which isn't always consistent.

Plus, the guy that I used to leech off of has now instituted password protection. This means that I effectively do not have internet at home. :(

Thanks for the well-run, highly enjoyable event guys. Definitely glad I came up for it, and I'm looking forward to playing more events with this format in the future (and yes David, I'll do my best to resist sleeving up Dorans for the time being).
