This is more or less how United States presidential elections work, and they're no less legitimate as a result. Everything involving voting's really just a popularity contest.

Yes, because Threshold and TES have had no influence on the current Legacy metagame at all.

Interestingly, that's reason why a poll of the most influential is somewhat safe as a popularity contest; influential status is brought about by popularity.

Dissimilarly, however, we don't have every person who has ever attended a Legacy tournament voting in this poll.

Anyway, it is what it is.

Thanks for focusing on the one place I slipped up... I meant besides the obvious.

How did you make your first account? Good, now do that a few more times, but put a different e-mail address. This is what Peter_Rotten did to make Radley.

I'm sorry, did I just get accused of BEING Radley?

And... WTF is wrong with this thread? Stay the HELL focused or I'll lock this thing down and just declare a winner.

Please, please don't. We can't have Cavius be the winner.

Peter Rotten didn't make Radley. Radley descended upon us as an intelletually superior being, that came to enlighten all of our inferior minds.

This thread spirals into entropy quickly because it's a matter of pride and credit, over the internet. People tend to desperately cling and claim what ever they can to increase their "fame." Discussions regarding who made what turn into bitter disputes, as seen with Parcher previously in this thread.

You should know by now we the people of the Source can't have nice things. I thought it was pretty obvious this thread was a train wreck waiting to happen.
My only dream is that yours never come true.

Re: The Most Influential Legacy Deck Builder Contest

This thread can go no where good.

It was tough to decide who I wanted to vote for, but I decided on Tacosnape (since he represents Dragon Stompy on this poll, I don't know anything about who deserves how much credit) because of the success of Blood Moon effects in Legacy. Dragon Stompy was the first real deck to run and now even Thresh variants are running it.

I think the top prizes go to the following:
    • Parcher - Angriest Post
    • Cavius - Most Unaware Post - "Why is my name in italics?"
    • The Hatfields - Winners of a Fake Contest
    • Spatula - Best Poker Face. I still don't know if his posts were serious or not.
    • The Adepts - For Being Big Meanies

So it was an April's Fool's joke? I can't view the picture from here. Was my speculation on Caviar’s poll results in my deleted post correct?

Re: The Most Influential Legacy Deck Builder Contest

EPIC lulz. Once again, Peter Rotten has outsmarted us all, and Cavius is no doubt still proclaiming his victory and wondering why there is a picture of Ashton Kushter instead of him as the winnRAR of the contest.

EDIT: so many posts that contain Greasemonkey links to the unglued card 'sorry.' I will now never forget that card, and forever associate it with Cavius winning.

EDIT#2: Sanguine: delete words 4-7 of your post and replace them with "Cavius by a landsslide" Peter will then delete this line of my post and it will be a marvelous inside joke and Cavius will forever be in the dark. Better yet, Cavius is declared the winner, but after he creates the link to Lich in his sig, Peter changes it to a link to a RickRoll.

So, did I win or not? If this is all a joke then why did that many people vote for me?
