Tosh & Pinder are you guys still coming up Friday and what time will you be here? BTW one of you guys might consider bringing a sleeping bag because I forgot to mention one of the 3 couches I have is actually a love seat. I used to sleep in it all the time but it's a little small. I also have a recliner you can sleep in if you want to.

I'm the smallest and could probably sleep on the love seat. We would either leave Friday ~11pm (3am arrival, IDK if that's too late for you) or early Saturday morning ~8am (11am arrival, we might have to leave earlier if the tournament starts earlier).

Tournament on Saturday starts @ 3pm. So it won't be a problem if you are going to be in the area around 11-noon, as it's pretty easy to navigate Portland freeways on Saturdays. It'd probably take about 30 min (45 tops in traffic) to hit Ancient Wonders from either Vancouver-Portland bridge.

Eh, I'll think of you when I'm enjoying my legroom .

That seriously sucks, though. You should contract a mysterious and semi-debilitating disease that day that can only be cured by 4+ hours of Magic: The Gathering. I'm sure your boss will understand.

    My new favorite:

Tell them that you've contracted an eye disease, you just can't see comming in to work that day.

Wow. I mean, yeah, I bailed on this tourney, too, but at least I live 5000 miles away. Don't be a bitch, call in sick.

He's alive! Even Brett, who has been MIA since about the time the lists split, is going to make it to this tournament, and you can't take a day off of work?

We are currently about to check out of a hotel in Half Moon Bay, which is just south of San Francisco. I managed to get some more pictures uploaded, though I'm not sure if they'll satisfy Nightmare (when you're taking pictures from a moving vehicle, you have to take several shots to make sure you get a decent one, so you end up with a lot of pictures of roads). Pictures from New Orleans will have to come later, since we forgot our digital camera when we went down to the French Quarter and had to buy a disposable camera there. There are also some pictures on Anwar's camera that we have not uploaded yet.

Fredericksburg, VA to San Antonio, TX (this set was already linked to)
San Antonio, TX to Carlsbad, NM (these are in reverse order; the set includes Carlsbad Caverns)
Carlsbad, NM to Las Vegas, NV (these are out of order; includes the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam)
Las Vegas, NV to San Diego, CA (these are not all up yet, and they are also out of order; includes the San Diego Zoo)

With engineered explosives, it is a good card to have against non-land permanents with converted mana cost equal to what you set the explosives to, but it doesn't hit those that have differing cc. Plus, engineered explosives has sunburst.

Did you guys ever end up going to Tijuana (for a donkey show)?
There was a young lady named Valarie
Who started to count every calorie
    Said her boss in disgust,
'If you lose half your bust
then you'll only be worth half your salary.'

So who's actually showing up tomorrow? Haven't heard a whole lot from out of towners, and probably half the people in town. Don't make this warmup tournament a failure, its only $10.

Conservative driving would put you on our side by about 1pm, 1:30 if there's decent traffic anywhere. Give Chris or I a call tomorrow around that time for directions down to the store from I-5 or 205 if you don't print any out before.

Can you PM me your numbers? Or are they the ones on the first page?

Also, I will be relying on some printed out shit but I have a tendency to get lost even in my own town.

Chris and myself (Ryan) are both on the first page. Both of us should have our phones with us, I assume. If not, you can always call the store (503)-692-0753 and ask for one of us, or even directions from one of the employees, they're used to it.

    Quick update!

Last I checked, I was player number 47, so we have at least that many. We're starting in roughly 5 minutes or so.

Are you going to be giving us round-by-round updates? Because that would be pretty awesome.
