I have gotten my entire merfolk deck german now! I should however get 6-7 Islands (must be BB) in german since I'm now playing with Snow-coverd (Coldsnap) and if the situation where my opponent plays predict ever comes up I should have 6/6 splitt between the 2... Any suggestions as to which Island is the best? :)

Will post pics as soon as my camera works (and also after the 4 beta LoAs ;)

Never felt an urge to submit to this thread... These are some so-called "pimp" cards I control. Classical boring style of japanese/chinese or signed staples snaffled without any reason, just a collection of "lifestyle" stuff to make my "friendz" jealous. See the lacking playset of chinese Chants - :yawn: -, which has one of my "friendz" borrowed for his SB.

If you are all deck in german language you can buy tempest or bb (DL) islands.

1. Guru - not much topping these
2. Summer - Sexy, but no one recognizes them half the time
3. Old Arena - The dinosaur is the shit.
4. Euro - Different pictures than you normally see. Some of them are quite nice.
5. Foil Unhinged
6. Unglued
7. Foil Snow Covered Islands from Coldsnap - Hard to find, but it's nice
8. Any picture you're a fan of. I like the Kamigawa ones myself.

Well, do I have an analysis for you! It all matters on the mood of your deck.
Dark=Tempest
Fantasy=Foil Rav
Dull/Old Still life-like=My fav combo: a ratio of 3:3 Coldsnap Theme Deck Islands:Ice-Age Islands.
Light/Shiny:Beta/Alpha(personal preference)
Eerie=if you want to add in that eerie flavor, try using a new basic land play mat from shadowmoor with 1 of the corresponding basic land.

Sorry to say but that is my least favorite island picture. I prefer Beta, saga, unglued/unhinged in no real order.

11 Guru islands in at least ex+ condition will cost a lot more than 300-350, unless you are referring to the 6/6 split he was mooting.

Pretty good list, although I like Mirage and Ravnica islands. Beta islands should be somewhere on the list too, as should foil saga islands.

If casual, I would play test print islands too.
