Will probably be there, but the date sucks cause I think I'll have a tremendous hangover on the 1st of January.
At least it's just half an hour away from here, so if I'm able to stand up in the morning I'll come. =D
The prices are sick...and of course it's gonna help that the event takes place just two weeks after Christmas
Lol, what a date for such a tournament. I think at the 1st I'd be still drunk. At the time I will be in holiday in denmark but maybe I will be there and take sum #ayb-freaks with me.
@van: what is about the problems with getting it sanctioned? Will the legacy tournament be sanctioned or not?
My guess is this: normally tournaments this big want to have trial tournaments where you can earn byes to the big tournament. The DCI has very strict rules when it comes to handing out byes on a sanctioned tournament. It basically boils down to the point, that if it isn't an event organized by the DCI, you probably can't get any byes and sanction the event. That's why probably the bye-idea was dropped, so it will be sanctioned.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably delicious.
Team ADHD-To resist is to piss in the wind. Anyone who does will end up smelling.
It looks very likely there will be a delegation from Team Unicorn making this event!
And you know we are just crazy enough to do it!

NARF!
Does anyone know if there will be side events available without need to register in advance?
I might decide to come to this, as long as I don't have to work with newyears night.
Seems like a nice tournament and although I won't be getting any prices (I guess), playing a big tournament is always very nice.

I really feel like I need to go if even people from Finnland and the States are actually considering this.
If anyone from the Stuttgart area is planning on attending and looking for company on the Autobahn drop me a PM.
Update
Preregistrations close on December 10, 2009.
If you are not registered by then, you'll have to register at the day of the event.
Just as a reminder, there's only one week left to preregister.
Stupid question, whats the advantage of preregistering?
I will be there for sure, but i dont see a point.![]()
BBB
I won't go to this one after all.
I am kind of on a budget this year and I'd rather pay for a trip and hotel in Madrid instead.
Good luck and have fun for all of you who are going though.

If you play more than one tournament, it's cheaper.

It looks like 6 of us from the States are headed over there. Anyone in the Frankfurt area going to show us around and possibly give us a place to crash?
The Legacy main event will be a GP Trial to Madrid with byes for the whole top8: http://www.germanmagic.de/english/informations.html
