I can't understand why people are so eager to get asian cards as well, maybe alot of the people who play MTG are japan/asia/animefreaks?

Which is what puts me off from asian cards :(

Really guys? Asian cards are just worth more, because of the smaller market. Making them more sought after, plus they just look fucking awesome. Meaning if you have an entirely asian foil deck it's that much more awesome.

Maybe it's because of all the emokids/japanfreaks around here that I consider them to be lame. But, the 'they're more rare/expensive, thus more pimp' argument is fair enough I guess.

I'm new to the forums (been iraq for awhile now and haven't been able to look at the game much) but here is my merfolk deck. Not really pimp yet since its pretty basic and I'm still trying to find foil standstills. Not sure what to do with the deck but I'm looking at going to GenCon next summer and I'd like to take this with me so I'll take any advice on it. Oh and disregard the Doran, my wife got confused and just took a picture of whatever she thought could be in the deck.

For some reason, the knights and the Magus' don't look foil, but they sure are! I still have WB Mishra's factories, so I didnt feel like uploadin them :( and I am still missing one JAP Smokestacks. Help me out!

Kinda, but as for Decks i like them being all of the same kind, even the normal English ones are better than a mix of everything.

like I have a foil russian goblin flectomancer, it looks amazing. if I had to pick an fbb original art serra angel, I'd pick an italian one. cause I can imagine her being some big tittied italian blonde. fbb original art counter spell would have to be in french, cause of their reputation for being stank. original art STP would have to be japanese after the alt art I think yawg did turning the farmer into a samurai. braingeyser looks pretty pimp in german. I dont know if antiquities ornithopter comes in italian, but that would remind me of da vinci. I like german lightning bolts cause germans are insane masters of war.
