    [Legacy] 12/5/09 - Tom Shea's Battle for Dual Lands!

    Come and win my DUAL LANDS! Our first ever large Legacy event with an AWESOME prize! Play sets of Revised Dual Lands!

    1st: 4x Underground Sea
    2nd: 4x Tropical Island
    3rd: 4x Tundra
    4th: 4x Volcanic Island
    5th: 4x Taiga
    6th: 4x Bayou
    7th: 4x Savannah
    8th: Badlands
    Additional dual land and/or product prizes awarded based upon attendance.

    Format: Legacy. Absolutely NO PROXIES.

    Entry for this event is $25.00.

    This event is DCI Sanctioned and will follow the appropriate number of swiss rounds based upon attendance, cutting to a Top 8 elimination. Deck lists are required. REL for this event is Competitive.

    I would be surprised if there are many Legacy players that share this sentiment. I estimate that the average age on this site is ~25, and since The Grateful Dead haven't been relevant in 30 years, this is a no-brainer for most of us. I'll be there.

    Only a fool would say the Grateful Dead are not relivant. Their music and spirit will forever be in the hearts of their fans, both young and old. Although Jerry is dead his love for the scene lives through the music being played today...

    Sorry. I know what I said was pretty troll-ish. I just thought it was funny that you were reprimanding the TO for scheduling a Magic tournament opposite a concert from a band that was popular in the 70's, whose main creative force is now deceased. I mean, it might be a conflict for my dad if he played Magic. Anyway, enjoy your concert. Smoke one for me.

    I'll be there. As a side note, if anyone lives along 90, I'm coming from the westernmost exit in Mass, so PM me for carpooling there and back, I'm good for four spots.
