Disappointed that Saito is out, but at least ANT made the finals. I kinda like Anh's list better with Orim's Chant anyway.

The last year we had a CounterTop final.
This year we have a combo final.

    Good times, good times.

Yes, it sounds like a healthy format to me.

What do you think how much Entomb will be after the GP? :D

Maybe at current LED price (how much might LED raise with 2 ANT lists in the top 8?).
At least there are no Goyf in the final ;).

I stand corrected. Bant decks as a whole are fairly good for reanimator, unless they play copious amounts of hate.

Reanimator in the finals. Awesome. Perhaps my extra entombs will double in value (again). Go go Iona Black.

I fear that the decklists for top 16 or top 32 will be lost @ Wizards. Wouldn't it be nice if we could gather as much information as possible to at least get to know the decks of those lucky guys?

LED may jump to something ridicolous, like 50 dollars each (perhaps it could already be on those prices, knowing SCG. Here it's about 80 euros the playset, so i guess around 150 $).
I just hope that the consequence of this Gp is people not learning how to properly hate combo (which is what happena atm), Extract not being an automatic sideboard card, and Wizards not having a brainfart idea like banning LED.
The odds of similar things happening against Reanimator cards are much lower, since Reanimator puts few results if compared on how well ANT was alrady doing before this event. Plus, graveyard hate is already in several sbs because of Ichorid and such.

The biggest magic tournament ever, and not one video of any match online? How is this happening? Where's the live feed?

There's no live feed for GPs. Oly for PTs.

I was kind of hoping Saito could take it, but the Orim's Chant pretty much took the match.

I was a little surprised when I saw Saito's decklist - no protection besides Duress.

So Müller takes it all! Mad props to GERMANY for taking two big titles in a row.

Saito always play UB ANT, so no white for Chants and no green for Krosan Grip.

It seems to me ANT invalidates a lot of decks to be playable, mostly non-blue decks. I do see this as a problem. Ok zoo is playable but others non-blue decks aren't viable, because you would need to dedicate more than half your side just for this deck...
I think banning mystical tutor and or led would solve the problem. Reanimator is less scary cause people already needs to put some grave-hate for ichorid.

He had Reverent Silence in the sb, to be honest.

So, Reanimator took the final? Mad props to that german dude! Even if I was hoping for ANT, after having read the semifinal report he deserved to win.

Yea, but heck I think even the starcity games legacy events have a live feed to them. Not recording the top 8s of big tournaments just should NOT happen. Maybe we will get lucky and there will be some youtubes of it in the upcoming days.
