"Insert deck name here"
By now, most active Legacy players probably have realized that Stoneforge Mystic (SFM) is a true powerhouse - yet, there seems to be no deck out there that actually abuses his awesome mechanic (no, UW Tempo doesn't really count here).
The basic idea of the deck I'm going to present below was to include guys at reasonable casting costs that came along with some neat CIP effects or other forms of extras, generating CA/CQ. Later those guys would be carrying some badass equipment and beat down ftw.
The bodies of those creatures did not matter at all, since any critter carrying a Jitte, SoFI or SolaS poses a pretty serious threat.
Spellstutter Sprite was actually the first spell that came to mind: having a pretty decent CIP effect plus being a flyer, made him my first inclusion. Consequently, Vendillion Clique followed as a natural addition, pimping Sprites as well as being awesome on their own.
Yeah, good ol' Tarmogoyf made it in pretty early on too, so did Noble Hierarch ...in the pre-SFM era I found him quite underwhelming outside of ProBant variants, tbh. but now that a deck could have twice the amount of equipment it was actually running made him an acceptable mid-/lategame topdeck.
Anyway, let me cut to the chase, since some of the other inclusions are rather self-explanatory:
4 Stoneforge Mystic
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Spellstutter Sprite
4 Noble Hierarch
2 Vendillion Clique
2 Trygon Predator
1 Trinket Mage
---
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Sensei's Divining Top
2 Umezawa's Jitte
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
---
4 Brainstorm
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Force of Will
3 Spell Snare
---
4 Flooded Strand
3 Misty Rainforest
4 Tundra
4 Tropical Island
1 Forest
1 Plains
1 Island
1 Academy Ruins
SB:
3 Gaddock Teeg
3 Krosan Grip
3 Path to Exile
2 Relic of Progenitus
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Pithing Needle
1 Jace
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
---
I'll add specific MU analyses in the near future, promise*.

Thanks for your feedback!

Edit 01:
Storm Combo - I'd consider this an unfavorable MU, mainly due to the lack of CB and FOW, then again this goes for most decks lacking those cards...it is winnable, though, especially if Teeg enters play in time
Aggro Loam Hierarch alongside 7 fetchies+ basics give us an edge against Wastelocks. 2 Relics +1 Crypt from the board (+1 Trinket Mage) can buy enough time to get there with equipped flyers. I'd probably not pump Jitted critters till the bitter end to allow them to survive the eventual Devadstating Dreams. Chalice @1 sure hurts the deck a lot - if I get lucky I might draw 1 of the 4 MD outs.
Bant Aggro Control CB sure is one of the weak spots of this deck (though Pierce, Snare EE, Pridemage and Predator can eventually handle it). Postboard Grips help a great deal - still a tough MU though. Gaddock comes in, in case its a Prog version.
Survival.dec if they can't stick their namesake, G1 is quite winnable, I think. G2 yard hate and Needle should make it a fair battle.
Dragon Stompy Hierarchs and basics can solve otherwise problematic Moon situations. Most of their guys don't actually have a big butt, which is why Jitte can get there singlehandedly. SB SoFI will also shine here.
Dreadstill I'd say that if they can't assemble CB Top early on it's a favorable MU, if they do, it's a tough upwards battle for sure.
Enchantress Snare and Pierce are pretty awesome against any kind of combo deck, but even more so against Enchantress. FOW is not as crucial here, since it can't win on turns 1/2/3
Sui Variants
Ichorid
Landstill
Tribal.dec
Reanimator
Canadian Threshhold

See hungrylikealion's tournament report from making 3rd out of 100+ at Jupiter Games this past weekend with a similar deck. Also, he borrowed a lot from a guy who got 14th at GP Madrid.
IMO, Spiketail Hatchling is underrated and Bitter Blossom is better than Tarmogoyf (I'd rather do /b instead of /g for Vindicate, Perish, Tombstalker etc.)
4 Stoneforge is fine, he baits counters and he gets the 2nd copy of Jitte in multples, which is becoming more and more relevant vs. the increase of Stoneforge/Jitte in MDs because you have to be able to win the Jitte war now like you did back in Standard.
The plus of green is definitely not Tarmo, but Noble Hierarch. Once, you've chosen green, you understand quite easily that Tarmogoyf is played too. But according to me Noble Hierarch is the real justification for chosing green.
Update.

Interesting idea, what was funny, when i read your starting post : i thought : "Heh there is no force, whats up here, can that be right ??? and thought : i will cut the spell peirce and 1 jace for 4 force, and whoops you did the same :-)
I miss the sword of fire and ice, i would prefer it over sword of light and shadow.....
Didn't hungrylikealion make a very similar thread ?
Dear mods please delete this thread
Hungrylikealion's "Excalibur" is way too similar to this one here.
I guess I'll just hook up with the guys next door.
Thanks.
