Ofcourse I'm doing ugly pimping. Pimping for me is all about spending extra money on stuff that looks flashy but is real ugly. Example:



If you're not pimping ugly, youi're not pimping, you're just making your deck look pretty.

Haven't prepared anything to scan, but I'm in the midst of putting another scan of 9 cards together. The next main pickup, if everything goes well, will be a blue tropical storm. Pretty damn exciting for me.

I've also half-heartedly started putting together a white stax deck -- the cots I posted are in there, and the geddons should all be summer by the time I get through, as should the basics. I'm just really ambivalent towards having to gather all the foreign cards that I don't have. I'll post a pic if I ever get it done.

I totally agree with everyone has their own pimping techniques, but that's definitely the most common deck I've seen around here.

I suppose I won't bother taking pictures of my recently "completed" Aggro Loam since it's basically "just the same" as majikals deck. The only "pimp" cards in it are the 6 fbb dual lands and maybe the lone Guru Forest.

@ majikal: That's a really nice deck you have there. I must say that I also prefer my deck black bordered and in english if possible. (I can live with foreign bb duals though). For me, signed cards are "the thing", and getting more signed cards would be the only way for me to get my deck more "pimp". So far I have only playset of signed Wooded Foothills and a lone signed Engineered Explosives.

To be honest, I'm actually enjoying the "ghetto pimp" that's happenin in here... Foil japanese decks are everywhere now, fuck em. I appreciate that someone wants to make their deck as expensive as possible, but I'd rather see a clean looking english, black bordered, non-foil deck because while it may be easier to acquire.. it's certainly prettier in my eyes and not as gaudy or flashy as 52 japanese foils and 8 revised duals or FBB duals.

Though, now that I'm going to have a bit extra free time.. maybe i'll acetone/erase down and whiteborder one of my decks.... not sure which one though... I really don't wanna WB out my LEDs, Fows, Fetches, Goyfs, Wastelands, etc..... doesn't leave many options.
