Thread: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

  1. #3681

    Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

In a casual event you might get away with it, but I don't think it should be allowed in a competitive event.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.

Ben, is the forest foil, or not? Does it also have a normal back?

Well, Gencon had no problem with it. I always check my misprints with the event's head judge ahead of time to be safe.

The test print Forest is white-backed and slightly thinner than a normal card; that one I don't play in sanctioned events.

That Simic is gorgeous. I used to have signed Chinese foil ones back when I sideboarded it in Oath.

Thanks I'm doing my best to acquire miscut dark rituals and was wondering where I could expect to play them.

Well, I dumped all that Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German BB, stuff on ebay today. I just listed the whole damned thing. Someone is going to get their butt kicked in shipping, that thing is heavy. Check sig for links if interested.

    That island is super hot.

Misprinted cards get my vote for the most pimp.

    Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

It's kind of surprising how hard it is to find a foil spore frog. I like the Veteran explorers, it's rough to find foreign versions of those. Also good call on them anyway, I was wondering when people might finally notice that guy is decent in a lot of mana demanding decks like Survival.

I got recently some signed beta basics for my countertop progenitus but still don't find one signed beta plains anywhere... Like you I assume, as you show all kind of basics but no plains at all.
Anyone who knows why it is SO damn hard to get signed beta plains? And maybe anyone who is selling one? ;)

It's because Jesper Myrfors is the artist. As far as i know he don't show up to GP/PT and his signatures is quite rare. It's very ugly though, so it's not really a loss. But i'd like some signed plains as well to match my other signed lands.

Wow Ben, your basics beats Guru flat out.

Happen to find any chance on posting a crimped/miscut out pimped Vintage deck for us to see? :D

I've seen your crimped Seas/Time Vaults, those were insane O_O

    I'm aware.

I was referring to the general poor condition of the edges - the corners also have wear.

In other news, I have some new stuff to post but my hosting site is down! :(
