Mangara of Corondor
Having a hard time explaining this card's interactions with a vialed-in flickerwisp
Any hints on how to quickly and efficiently get my opponent to understand what I am trying to do and why it works? I realize it may be futile because I still find myself having to explain how MOM can target herself even after being declared as a blocker, due to the "new rules." You start typing this longresponse and then "PLAYER LOST" ugh!
Also just to confirm, this interaction will work with flickerwisp, but it will also with dust elemental and momentary blink
Correct?
From the D&T thread
A. Mangara tricks
You are going to find that opponents will stop at nothing to rid themselves of Mangara once they understand what he can do.
1. How does the Mangara cheese work?
You tap him and return him with Karakas or "flicker" him from play with the Flickerwisp while his ability is on the stack. Do not tap Mangara and ask "OK?". You have to respond with the unsummon effect before you ask for a response or a savvy opponent will simply do nothing and you will not get a chance to.
MWS is a losing proposition with regards to explaining how to play Magic. I wouldn't stress too much about it.
The best way is to explain how the Stack would resolve. i.e., First in, Last out.

Say bye and quit. Playing against people who can't figure out such a relatively simple trick (it ain't no Humility or Shackles/Memnarch) is probably not just a waste of time, but it will make you overestimate your deck.
YOU'RE GIVING ME A TIME MACHINE IN ORDER TO TREAT MY SLEEP DISORDER.
You: "Do you want me to explain or do you preffer to quit and continue to be a noob?"
Him: player lost
If you fail to explain the reason behind your choice, technically, it's the wrong choice.
Zerk Thread -- Really, fun deck! ^^
God I hate MWS. The players are so damn bad as well as immature.
T1: stifle your fetch. Opponent: "UGH ****** BLUE IS GAY" PLAYER LOST.
It's downright aggravating.
Yes it can be a challenge if you are not playing a straight-forward deck. Also people have a problem if you play a forbid in a casual game but no problem playing with affinity with skullclamps and disciples
any confirmation on my second question??
"Also just to confirm, this interaction will work with flickerwisp, but it will also with dust elemental and momentary blink
Correct?"
Yes the trick works with any of the Blink effects, provided you first activate Mangara, then play the blink effect targeting him.
