Or you can just buy up all the copies of the cards that are old and don't suck. Here's a nice convenient list.
Power Artifact, Transmute Artifact, The Abyss, Nether Void, Into the Eye of Chaos, Old Man of the Sea, Diamond Valley, Drop of Honey, Jihad, Arena of the ancients, Great Wall, Mana Drain (just in case), Nova Pentacle, reset, Spinal Villian, and I'll add Willow Satyr on just because people haven't noticed how good it is in EDH yet.
There you go. No need to get lost in the dust. Have a playset of these and you're covered for the old sets from here on out.
Oh yes, you might want to upgrade your Mishra's Factories since they seem determined not to reprint that again also.
Tabernacle and other $200+ cards not included on purpose.
OK, I was with you for the most part, but Great Wall????
Is this a test - if so I fail?

I'm really kicking myself because I've been watching Candelabras on eBay for the past two weeks. I was hoping to get one for cheap last Wednesday, but when the price was $70, I passed. What a steal that would have been! Needless to say, no card should change prices 4 times in one week (last Wednesday - $69.99 on SCG *sold out*; last Friday/Saturday - $99.99 on SCG; Monday morning - $149.99 on SCG; now - $249.99), more than tripling in value in 8 days. Methinks SCG is doing shady business and I have a hard time dealing with them due to their continuous price fixing.
I've never ordered from SCG, but how are you going to accuse them of price fixing when Candelabra increased similarly at every single other store (and on eBay and MOTL) and is now essentially unavailable.
(I do agree that the price is retardedly high for such a narrow card, but that has nothing to do with price fixing.)
Yeah that's just simple supply verses demand. Because of the volumn of business SCG does, they do in some way influence the market, but if they were to set prices, their competitors would lowball them for effect.
In my opinion, In the Eye of Chaos ( wich is probably one of my favoutite cards due to the picture, the name and the fact that is a playable Enchant World ) is the most legacy playable of all the ones you posted. It just needs some Tezzeret Stax deck to top8 an SCG, and you will notice how this card, dropped turn2 or turn1 off Tomb+ Mox, completely destroys Storm Combo. And TezzStax would play at least 3 in sideboard.
Arena of the Ancients it's cute, too, I might want a set.
Nether Void is another incredibly powerful card, wich only needs someone who breaks it. Then it will be nut high.

In the Eye of Chaos suffers from the fact that it is blue. Decks with blue probably have lots of it to support FoW. That means more countermagic. That means that the deck's combo matchup is decent already. That means that there probably is not room for In the Eye of Chaos. And one other thing, there are other blue enchantments that cost less money (and less mana iirc) that can create the same difficult environment for combo.
Also, Chains of Mephistopheles is underpriced for the effect and has never been duplicated in any form. It has all the features for this kind of thing. I can also see Tetsuo Umezawa, probably the last playable legendary creature from Legends, making a surge if some crazy mechanic pops up.

And I have to refer you to this pertinent article since we are discussing it.

"Governing is too important to be left to people as silly as politicians."

Arena of the Ancients was in Chronicles, and Mishra's Factory was reprinted last year.
^ reprinted with a black border too, that's the important part :)
I have a feeling that the Magus cycle from Time Spiral block (and to some extent Fauna Shaman) is the desire from WotC to reprint cards from old. Unfortunately the reprint policy is still in effect. Really really unfortunate.
Speaking of Magi, would Magus of the Candelabra work in the Eldrazipost deck? I mean its on color right or being a creature just really suck? (I might get a playset of them just in case)
It has no haste ^_^
^^^ THIS ^^^
In order to make Magus work you'd have to completely rework the deck from the ground up. One of the biggest reasons to use Candelabra is because you can in 1 turn trinket mage, cast, untap everythign, retap, cast kozilek/emrakul... You cannot do that with Magus.
You turn the deck a turn slower, and you'll probably have to start using somethign like GSZ to fetch it reliably, which would probably end up being over Trinket mage, and would significantly hurt your blue count and ability to run Force of Will. Also what happens to TM's ability to find Expedition Map when you need Eye of Ugin to tutor up your Eldrazi?
All in all, I don't think it's the card you want as it will transform the deck into something completely different that would probably be at least a full turn slower.

Just for the record, I have decks that sideboard Arena of the Ancients right now, so don't hate.:)
Also, Great Wall? Good tech. The Graceful Antelope/Zodiac Rooster/Volrath's Shapeshifter Combo (AKA Uncle Herschel's Breakfast) is officially no longer overpowered.
For example:
http://www.thecouncil.es/tcdecks/dec...4&iddeck=38951
Is a U stax deck, playing 2 ItEoC in side. TezzStax/ U stax loves that card, and that type of decks can't play Fow/ Spierce/ Snare for some obvious reasons.

I don't see where this is any good. It "just" counters Instants, so it won't cut the Deal much more than Trinisphere would, seeing that Trinisphere shuts off so much which makes it in my opinion the superiour choice. Let's think about it: Trinisphere disrupts combo better, cuts off non-vialing aggro decks of their speed and even gets rid of the cantrip'ping canadian and alikes do.
Sure it has the perfect casting cost for Staxx (2 colorless and 1 colored mana) but.... i don't see this beeing an underestimated card that yet has to get broken - its potential is very obvious and from my point of view in no way overwhelming.
I had him in there at first as Candelabra 3-6, then 3-4, then pulled them out all together. I would rather have Azusa in there as she is 10 times as explosive if you happen to have lands in hand or can tutor some up. I tried Oracle too which seemed great in conjunction with Azusa but then I feel like I'm to reliant on green and creatures that don't beat face.

In that place, i would much rather see Chalice of the Void then. Its more versatile.
