Yesterday I was playing Landeed in a tournament. Round 5 playing against some Junk'n Taxes. During the middle of G1, I drop a Deed. I have DCI ones and I really dislike them (I was forced to buy em since local shop had only those available back then) and opponent goes like: - Wow! Beautiful one! Where did you get it? I'ts amazing etc etc...- I stare at him thinking that he's a) Idiot or b) he's kidding me.

Apparently, there's someone who likes DCI and Promo shit :D.

There's something to be said for promo printings with art that's exclusive to that printing, like some judge foils (Survival, Orim's Chant, Wish cycle, Maze of Ith, Mind's Desire). I think the Vindicates are pretty sweet, but they don't have the original flavor text on them so I would never use it.

i friggin hate the dci foil deed, i have 4 cuz the apocalypse one is ridic expensive/hard to find

Some people hate promo foils, and there's some people like me who hate Japanese foils. I never did like cards that look like chicken scratch. It's a matter of preference. I like some of those promo foils. I personally love that Elspeth over the old one.

It depends on the card in my opinion. For Deed I prefer the regular Apocalypse version (I own 4 foil AP and 4 foil DI onces), for Orim's Chant and Vindicate (esspecially Vindicate) I prefer the Judge foil.

I just picked up another Beta Scrubland. It was more of a whiskey-induced impulse buy, but still, it's a Beta dual. I'm now up to 6 Beta Scrublands.
