It isn't legal in Commander, but then and again it's still a great piece, and is the lesser of the pieces I acquired.

Like all 5D prints, there is only one of each. At most, two, but I've never seen any surface on the open market. 5D prints aren't like Exodus test prints, where foil CoTs are into 3 digits. 5D prints are firmly in 1996WC territory when it comes to rarity. People forget that sometimes.

Occam, what's up with the 5th dawn test-print? I mean, i could see mirrodin-testprints (do they exist? Never heard of any), since that's the first edition with the new frame, but with 5th dawn - was they looking to change the foil process?

This will be the one and only serious post I will ever make in this thread.

Most of you people who got excited about me acted like you are using the internet for 15 minutes. Obviously a lot of the statements I made in this thread (especially regarding the last two pages) were ironic, sarcastic or with the intent to troll people.

For example saying that the Spanish and the French language are "subhuman" and saying that I speak both in one sentence should seem strange to anyone who reads it. I am really able to speak both languages and I do like both languages (along with their countries, people, food, peculiarities and so on).

If you look at the last page closely you may see that "lorddotm" started again and again a second time with posting silly rant (implying that his personal taste is more worth than mine [while being as far away from Japanese foil {if you want to take this as a scale for the "pimp" factor of a deck} as me]) and because he hated on my cards with great ignorance I took the invitation to go on with discussions in that manner. Generally I am a truly liberal person and never intended to be "pimp" in any way. I enjoy seeing pictures of neat cards and always try to give something back if I got something to share. I do not follow any rules or guidelines and never hated on anybody because he did not follow them - how often I had to read "jap foil or gtfo" or "go big or go home" in here and generally disapproved regarding the topic of those statements. I generally do not dislike any language even if I appreciate some languages more than others.
The only thing which I really dislike are playsets out of different editions with different pictures ... which should be not that far fetched.

That said I guess most of you people sensed no kind of humor and no attempts to troll truly ignorant people in my posts which makes me some kind of sad.

1. I uploaded pictures for general enjoyment. I never wanted to prove any point. If you think in a different way regarding this point please quote anything which proves that I wanted to "prove a point" with posting parts of my collection.
2. The Duals NM- and EXC- which is far from being "beaten up". Anyway hating on Beta dual lands in any condition seems not quite decent.
3. a) I am pretty sure you are a "smurf" (colloquial for a second account) of someone without the courage to post something that absurd with his real account.
3. b) If you are not a "smurf" joining the mob with one other post and post rant seems not decent to me.
4. Post stuff you own which is worth $5k (like I did over the last 10 or 15 pages) and we can talk along privately regarding being "pimp" or not.

I'll be blunt: We don't hate you Oren. We really don't. Sometimes, some of the things you say come off as being a bit dick-ish. It could be a bit of the language barrier (Your english is fine, but just the bluntness might be offputting to some), but it doesn't matter. No one truly hates you, and we appreciate your contributions. Also, trolling you can be VERY hilarious. I think as long as we all don't troll each other too hard, no one has to get truly upset.

Also, when you said colloquial, I think you meant euphemism. Maybe I'm wrong, but pretty sure.

Most of the people I deal with, I've known for some time and have built up a decent relationship with. This one has been in the pipeline for some time.

Definitely not anywhere near a summer serendib in price, but comfortably into 4 figures. As for what other cards are test prints from 5D, I've only ever seen a handful, and I already own the best ones. I've posted the EE test print before, and I still believe it's the priciest test print around.

5D foil test prints have the sunburst pattern you see on some of the JSS promos (Elvish Champ etc). It makes complete sense as well if you look at the timeline. These cards don't scan well, but the foiling is very obvious if you ever happen to see one.

Beautiful deck. I like how everything isn't just shiny. However the plural of Wald is Wälder. (or Waelder, as A umlaut is often written to prevent errors with non-German users.) :D
