Agreed. Nothing devalues a Beta card more than scratches with a Sharpie. 4 less Beta cards that will never see its value increase.

EDIT: To clarify, R.Alexander has probably signed more cards than any other artist combined, and hence very common.

Maybe in personal opinion but defiantly not regarding the prices the cards would fetch.

So what? Only because the signature is pretty common the signed and altered playset sucks? The discussions regarding the whole signed (/altered) stuff are pretty circular. I do not see a lot of sense and need in those ...

Also grats to you two for not being able to distinguish between Alpha and Beta ...

They're nice Seas! I mean, they're not for all of us, but for some, they're pretty pimp. Nice job, I know how hard it is to get Seas in general.

Did you have them signed/altered, or did you get them that way?

The sig is Mark Rosewater's, I'm quite sure. Markers would know for sure, I think.

The right Time Spiral is somewha tmiscut (not a 2-card miscut but the ratio is pretty off). I have 3 Korean Time Spiral now, need a 4th and then I'll borrow Candles from a friend :P

    Decks that I care about:
    Steel Stompy
    UWx Landstill
    Dreadstalker
    DDFT (10% practice)

Mangara on MWS? You must be masochistic. -kiblast

Thanks for the tip! Its been puzzling me forever, I always thought it was some pro's. It's pretty cool and Ironic that Maro's signature is on an Enlightened Tutor. He doesn't always seem that enlightened to me. Skullclamp, really Maro? What were you thinking??

    Edit: Maro's Sig: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazin...ily/mr110-maro

Nice Korean Spirals, the Miscut one is pretty cool!

I've got a ton of legacy foils, but since they aren't Jap Foil, they're not as impressive. These are some cooler cards I have:

I always enjoyed Signed Cards and I've seen alot of Terese Neilsen Sigs. I liked these the most because of the extremely thin ink. I believe it was done with some kind of caligraphy pen. Sharpie Sigs come of to me as a little rough compared to these. I prefer refined signatures. Her's is especially beautiful.

The Beta recall is my first ever piece of power, so it's got a special place in my heart. It's in pretty good nick too, just a little off centre. I also really like the full art Angels. They're the best looking full art cards too date IMO. I only play them in a vial deadguy ale deck, but we've had a lot of good times. Especially in a threesome with Stoneforge Mystic and her BDSM equipment. :)

Imo just a thin sharpie ... nothing too special.

Anyone noticed those ?? Especially the Tropicals look really good and are the only altered ones in existence afaik. Sadly they are overpriced.
Also I have never seen Myfors complete signature on a non AP card.

they went on auction some months ago before trop spiked like crazy and i think they shill bidded their auctions because it was relisted with this crazy BIN price.

the trop didnt even sell for 250$ (at a time normal trops were around 170-190$)

Those look terrible. I generally like alterations, but those just look like they ruined a nice card.

I love Alexanders multicolored alternations - I have always been really amazed by this playset ...

Very coil Serra Avengers. I always look at those on eBay and wish I could find a deck I liked that played them because that card in full art just looks so amazing to me.

Thanks! Serra avengers are only best with vials and sfm/equipment. I play them in death and taxes as well as dead guy ale. She is very strong on t3 off a vial. With equipment, she is a freaking beast. Since white and black don't have a lot of beefcakes, she fills the beefcake slot very well. She does alot of amazing things for 2 mana.

    Oh and mail just arrived:

    Ohhhh yeaaahh

Edit: just noticed my snapcasters glow red, blue and white. Encouraging me to play patriot much? Lol.

yesterday my russian foil bob arrived. it was worth every penny!
now waiting for the other incoming russian foils.

plus i devalued my deck by a few thousand euros because i replaced my beta duals with mint german unlimited ones. needed to fetch faster, and so many people had unlimited and revised ones, and obviously summer is too expensive, so my decision were german unlimited. somehow i feel saver now when i carry the deck around because i had no CE/IE counterparts anymore for my duals, just got some for the P9 but havent cut the corners yet.

Don't get me wrong - I love the card (I used to play D&T as well). I just have a hard time finding a deck that can use her (ie, a non-green deck) that I really enjoy playing these days.
